My significant other was going to put a slogan in elvish on the front for the players, so I was thinking of putting one on the back too. I want to write "Pull the strings!". I'm guessing there's no straigth translation for that, so I was hoping some of you might have approaches on how to translate this. PS: It's my intention to put the English translation under the elvish. |

| Berzerker_prime09-04-06, 10:45 PM | There really isn't anything in the way of a Faerūnian Elvish per se. That is o say, there is no established grammar and syntax. There are plenty of places where vocabulary has been established, so you could always use that to substitute one-to-one for Enlgish words. But really all you'd be doing with that is making a code for English, since you don't have a grammar. Sweet water to you! Berz. |
