I wanted to possibly develop and expand on the Guild Wizards of Waterdeep as well as a merchant family a PC of mine made up. Having trouble coming up with stuff, wondering if any of you have already. This could work with Zhents, Red Wizards or pretty much anything without resorting to Prestige Classes. Seems like alot of work though. |

It's an organization for young elven wizards from Evermeet (it was just a noble clan until 1371 DR) Link:http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=11642666#post11642666 Favored of the Guild wold basicaly be the feat necesary to become one of the Tir'ent (with the expensive memory recorder and some other things I have to flesh out) |

Ive stated up a number of organisations in Waterdeep as Affiliations (The system thats introduced in PHB2) it doesnt use the favoured in guild feat though If you want me to post them let me know |

I'm trying to think of ways to add flavor to reoccuring organizations the PCs might encounter over Faerun as well as in specific cities. Right now one of my PCs has all his characters members of a specific merchant family, which has relatives all of Faerun. Definetly something that will help as a rival merchant house has allied with some raksasha in order to sieze power in Impiltur. I'd like to have those thugs in league with these BBEG merchants have a specific fighting style and the captains of those thugs perhaps have some alt abilites as Favored in Guild might bestow. The PCS taking Favored In Guild would also allow them refuge and benefits in these cities. It'd be cool to let them swap out abilities as many of the recent books have been doing. Such as Dungeonscape or Cityscape. I'll check out PHBII again, perhaps I don't have to go so far as trying to come up with alt abilities as I do just having common feats and fighting styles to give them the flair I need. Thanks! P.S. Now that Raistlin's going to be a mini, they really do need to make a Fzoul |
