Reading the part that says that many people from east Aglarond are dreaming with a burning forest I took some ideas from an old SAGA DL module called "The Sylvan Veil".
Sildëyuir is coterminous with the Yuirwood and probably the star elves used some kind of High Magic spell to create their demiplane. As UE says, the nislhai are using life draining spells in the demiplane.
What if, due to the coterminous nature of the demiplane, these necromantic effect could extend to the prime material?
I've written so far the first parte of the adventure now, where PCs discover that may places in the Yuirwood are suffering a life draining effect. They arrive to Relkath's foot and the half elves are drained too, near death.
Then they must recover a Tel'kiira which holds the soul od a deceased High Mage (which rests in a hidden tower that is, in fact, a giant oak tree) and succesfully bargain with him in order to cast a Restorative High Magic Spell.
I have put ideas to mix the Read Wizards too. With a little effort they could be also Zhents or some other bad guys.

Then I want the PCs to go to Sildëyuir to help against the Nilshai invasion, but i'm lacking ideas. I'm doubting between three styles:

A) Skirmish between the players and the nilshai until arriving to nilshai headquarters.

B) Diplomatic campaign, where the PCs must ask for help to elves in other places.

c) Secret weapon, where the PCs must uncover an ancient High Magic Ritual so the star elves can fend off the invasion

Everything from the beggining to the PCs trip to the elven demiplane is done, but I need ideas for the adventure part in the elven demiplane.
Thank you for your ideas!

Perhaps there is no way to turn down the Nishlai from where they came from or destry them. The PC after realizing they cant do nothing to save the demiplane have to make admit the fact to the Star elves. If they manage to convince the star elves rulers of sildeyuir to leave the place and maybe sceal it to contain Nishlai, PCs must now find a new territory for star elves to live ! (Cormanthor ? deal with human kingdoms or other races around...)

If PCs dont manage to open rulers of Sildeyuir eyes, they still can try to talk and save the maximum of star elves commoners... Great challenge await PCs taken between Nilshai and Sildeyuir authorities. SE rulers are just wanting to sink with the boat. Apocaliptic scenario ambiance and what to do with the refugees ?

Good idea!

I certainly imagine one of my PCs (an elven fighter/ wizard goinf for eldritch knight) struggling to defend the elven refugees while a bunch of nilshai start launching barrages of combat spells.

:plotting:

Ummm!
Maybe I can mix these ideas. The PCs start exploring the demiplane. Interact with the star elves, discover an unsurmountable number of nilshai..... They look a bit like insects, so maybe there is one "Nilshai Queen" that is hatching hundreds of eggs.
Yes! The PCs can discover a giant "building" made of organic matter (ala "Alien"). Inside it there a chamber where dozens of pumpkin sized eggs lie. These are nilshai eggs.
The star elves and the PCs cannot face this threat. Then they must find a way to seal the demiplane and trap the nilshai there, or even implode it destroying them for good.
Thak you for the idea!
