| thalious07-30-03, 01:09 AM | What would happen in the Realms if the City of Zhentil Keep was sacked and cleared out of inhabitants and Fzoul Chembryl was slain during the process? |
| Dargoth07-30-03, 01:47 AM | The Dalelands would start seeing hoards of monsters entering there lands coming down from places like Thar etc. Not to mention that Bane would probably appear in Zhentil Keep if there city was really in danger |
| Gotrex07-30-03, 11:33 AM | as dargoth said whoever was responcible would probably get a very unpleasant visit from bane and die horribly :) then Bane would resurect Fzoul and it would be rebuilt |
| Masakado07-30-03, 11:43 AM | Originally posted by Gotrex then Bane would resurect Fzoul and it would be rebuilt Somehow, this line of logic doesn't jive with me. If Fzoul, with as much influence and personal power as he already has, allowed himself to get smoked, I think Bane would let him stay dead. Obviously, Chembryl would have proved himself to be unworthy of the mantle of Chosen Tyrant if he allowed the Black Network to fall, and ended up getting killed in the process. Bane does not ressurect losers. Methinks that Scyulla would be next in line as Bane's chosen, & he'd charge her with the task of avenging the slight and reestablishing the Moonsea tyranny, that is, if Manshoon Prime did not fill the power vaccuum by snuffing all of the Bane loyalists first. However, I do concur with Dargoth's assumption that Bane's avatar would most likely intercede on behalf of Fzoul, well in advance, if Zhentil Keep were truly in danger of falling. I think that the undead Beholders that Fzoul will likely summon should be all the personal defense he'd need, though. :behold: |
| thalious07-30-03, 12:30 PM | Here is the situation. Lastnight I was DMing my players evil characters. They are as follows: -Blood Storm (formely known as Klaide McCloud) Human Undead Fighter 6 / WeaponMaster 10/ Black Guard 10 and now a Death Knight for Orcus. -Blood Wing (formely known as Chluthan) Half-Drow-Dragon (Undead) Wight Spell Stitched for Orcus. Monk 7/ Mage 10 -Altyr (aka Tyr) Living Vampire (Legendary Monster created by Orcus) Fighter 18 The party is ordered by Orcus personally to attack Zhentil Keep. They are then gated 500 yds outside of town. The party approaches and are greeted by 12 Zhent Guards which are attacked and slain on sight within 2 rounds. The lone survivor flees and has the main gate to the Keep shut and locked. Altyr proceeds to bash down the porticulis with ease and the party proceed to enter the Keep where they are greeted by 1000+ Zhents, Scyllua, and Fzoul who is watching from his Balcony. The party banters with Fzoul for a bit, then battle break out when Blood Storm tires of the talk and attacks Scyllua. Blood Wing cast fireball on the troops. Fzoul then summons his Death Tyrants, Altyr uses the teleport power in his warhammer and appears next to Fzoul. Altyr had the fastest Init but stalled to see how the battle went, thus next round he went before Fzoul. He hit with all 5 of his warhammer attacks, since Altyr has imp trip and knock down he got to make one more extra attack since Fzoul was knocked down by the first hit. 2 of the 5 hits were critical....... Fzoul did not survive the assault. Altyr then tossed the body down into the crowd. I rolled morale for the Zhents and they got a 1. So they "retreated" led by Scyllua, who was sorely wounded after one round, and left the city at the mercy of the party and Orcus who showed afterwards to Claim his new Prime Material Home. |
| Gotrex07-30-03, 01:26 PM | hhhmm a direct assault by another god though this really is not a good answer in regards to your campaign i think that bane (and most gods) would react to such a direct assault on them by killing orcus and all of your characters (neither orcus or any of your characters would stand any chance of defeating bane) if you want your parties characters to survive you will probably have to formulate some story of orcus not being the sole reason for this attack and have his allied with a god who is strong enough to hide orcus and the party from bane |
| Israfel66607-30-03, 04:19 PM | Hmm, Orcus + three epic characters + assorted tanar'ri and undead vs. the avatar of Bane + Scyllua Darkhope + assorted devils.... That's sure a battle I'd love to see  |
| IntotheNight07-30-03, 07:35 PM | that actually happened in my campaign! except the person who killed Fzoul was one of Manshoon's status clones, it went pretty well from then on out...well, until he was killed by the PCs. I have a campaign website which tells the whole story (well at least not yet) and beware, the website isnt quite built yet...but it will be in a few weeks, so check it out anyway. cheers! http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/into_the_night |
| Jargos Furyfist07-30-03, 08:21 PM | well it all depends on the roll of the die....I guess you could ask the creator(s) of these people to actually fight it out in their little campaign, what better way to see how Bane would react then using the person(s) who created bane actually roleplay him. OOOO Im so giddy thinking about it |
| thalious07-30-03, 08:35 PM | Gotrex, Per the BoVD Orcus is the closest demon to becoming a God, an idea I am using IMC. Since Orcus is a God IMC, he is quite able and confident to oppose Bane. Bane IMO is still wary from his previous defeat and not about to risk is newly attained "life" to fight a battle that Fzoul and his Army should have won, but lost due to over confidence and under estimation of the enemy. This is not to say that Bane will just sit and take it, but Bane is in no hurry to bring extra attention unto himself, instead letting Orcus and his minions take the heat, while Bane gather his power and grooms the replacement to Fzoul. |
| Gotrex07-30-03, 08:50 PM | what type of deity is orcus in your campaign? if hes demigod/lesser god then bane has nothing to fear from him and bane will know this even as an intermediate god bane wouldnt have to much to worry about being a greater god |
| thalious07-30-03, 09:06 PM | I have not decided what Ranking Orcus will get. I am tempted to make him a Greater God as he is going to play a large role IMC for the near future and he is the First Demon to become a God, also technically Orcus has more worshipers IMO since Bane is found only on Toril, while Orcus is found in more areas. |
| Mirtek08-06-03, 09:11 AM | Originally posted by thalious He hit with all 5 of his warhammer attacks, since Altyr has imp trip and knock down he got to make one more extra attack since Fzoul was knocked down by the first hit. Well, it may but you do not get the extra attack from imporved trip when using knockdown (see FAQ). Also i think you underestimated Fzoul and didn't play him to his full potential. A man in his position (and with his spell caster level) should be protected at any time with at least the simplest contingency to teleport him to safety somewhere between your player's 5 hits. Or all they saw wasn't Fzoul, but only simacurilum[forget how to spell] or something like that. And one would think if Orcus would dare to send such a direkt assault which such powerfull followers, Bane would send at least one or two dozen of max. HD pitfiends (i would consider that a "legal counter", since epic chars aren't just a battle of mortals anymore). Sending an avatar i would think a little too much. Depends on how powerfull you want Orcus to be. If you follow the official point of view and make him a lesser god, Bane might be tempted to do a little walking to the Abyss to do a little sight seeing and demonlord/lessergod bashing. |
| paradoxmage08-06-03, 09:36 AM | What u did and how you did it was fine, for the simple reason it is your game. Plus going back and changeing things looks alittle imposible sice apparently u already had this game and adventure happen. So I will try and help after this fact. I would think at this point bane would dip his hand into this and not only choose a new chosen(since he must have just lost a few if not just 1) but I would say he would band all his followers at this point(and may even make a deal with other gods he is as close as he can be with) to hunt down these 4 no matter what the cost, Bane I believe has quite a few epic followers at this point,I would then have cormyr attack these followers of orcus also, since these characters are powerful enough to wipe out a whole city they are a large threat to the whole of the realms(so then alot of good and evil epic characters and powers will be tracking them down) And i see you are saying that orcus is not only a god now but is now present in the realms and is large and in charge, if this is true then just about every god (good or evil) would be gunning for this new demon god, his overly high amount of power and destruction would not be ignored by any of the realm gods, so I would say these adventures and orcus would be in pretty deep water that they would in no way be able to contend with |
| Conan08-07-03, 08:11 AM | I know that this is after the fact, but I think you should consider that Bane's Portfolio Sense from Faiths and Pantheons states: Bane senses any event involving strife, hatred, tyranny, or fear seventeen tendays before it happens and retains the sensation for seventeen tendays after the event occurs. Having said that I think this situatuion would surely register on Bane's radar and, being the nice benevolent god that he is, he would have at least warned Fzoul of the attack well in advance. After all 170 days prior to the event gives one time to plan just about nicely for this sort of circumstance. Whatever you do from this point on I think it important that you at least bring this into your considerations, eg. why didn't Bane warn Fzoul etc... |
| Amoun08-07-03, 10:38 AM | To solve everyone's problems :) While your pcs were intially successful at slaughtering Fzoul and his minions, they should tread very lightly... as most likely Fzoul had a wizard cast a clone spell on him, thus ensuring his continued survival (Stasis clone by Manshoon would do nicely). While Manshoon has had his differences with Fzoul in the past, he would not like the idea of a bunch of upstarts bashing down his precious Zhentil Keep. Yes the PCs were successful, they did kill Fzoul temporarily... While all the Zhents did retreat from battle it was only to lick their wounds. At this point, Bane is very angered (I would be too hehe), lets pretend that he was unable to see this event from occuring (to help the DM out for being not fully prepared :P). Now Bane would pull some strings in Baator, and make sure that Asmodeus is heavily inclined to taking out Orcus. The Pcs are probably boasting about their easy victory... going back to Orcus and then all of a suddent they see a very large gathering of devils sieging Orcus' keep. After all while Orcus may be a newly arised god, he still was a demon for thousands upon thousands of years, this means he hates devils with avengence. So with his new found power he most probably would try tipping the Blood war in the Demons favor, so this is why Asmodeus would help bane out. To make things nicer for the pcs the devils are backed up by clerics of Bane and some of Manshoon's wizards. In game terms, this means that a bunch of clerics are in the ranks of devils, have the wizards cast improved invisibility on the clerics and have them go around and heal the devils while they fight... trust me the devils will have an edge. Also add in Fzoul and Manshoon in the ranks of the devils. This time make sure they are heavily prepared, with tons of spells cast on them and just in case have them have each a chain contingency on... Have at least one of the Dark Eight (The Pit Fiends generals of the blood war) in the battle.. For game purposes he is a pitfiend 10th lvl fighter, it would work best in my opinion. Your happy players will be ******* in their pants and running in circles trying to save the keep. Orcus of course is not without power, hence he will aid them... but much to his dismay, Bane has sent an avatar to boost the ranks of the devils... countering his power (this way the spot light stays on the pcs as it should). Oh yes, make sure that Manshoon and Fzoul and the member of the dark eight escapes (aka chain contingencies can do wonders). Chances are that your powerful PCs will survive and barely be successful, but at this point Orcus will be heavily weakened... While still formidable he needs the pcs to go out and try to restore his power for him... as going out personally would be suicide at this point. If you wish you can have the pcs go around and restore Orcus to his former glory... Or if you want you can totally ignore my suggestions hehe, its just a suggestion after all. In my campaign Fzoul was in fact slain by my PCs who were working for Manshoon, so Fzoul permanently hit the bucket... Manshoon took over, developing his iron grip over the Zhentarim. Eventually he proved himself far more efficient than Fzoul ever was, so Bane approached him and made him his chosen... After all a cleric doesnt have to be Bane's chosen... but thats just my campaign... Anyway the Zhentarim is far more threatening, while its backed up by the church, its also led by a very cunning Wizard :) Just my thoughts :P |
| Amoun08-07-03, 10:40 AM | Oh yes one more thing... the Demon Lords in the abyss would be very resentful towards Orcus.... So you could have the devils mildly aided with knowledge of the plane because of Demogorgon or Graz'zt.... this is a bit unlikely... but it is entirely possible |
| Amoun08-07-03, 10:43 AM | Oh yeah, if you are interested I have a very powerful Demon that I played once... He became an Abyssal lord and later a demigod... believe me this guy will give anybody pause even a greater diety like ur Orcus :P |
| thalious08-09-03, 05:48 PM | Yes, I may have played Fzoul too weak, but in all honesty, the PCs attacked Zhentil Keep out of the blue (so to speak), thus leaving little room for Bane or anyone else to have forseen it or plan againt it---reason for this is that the plan was concocted in the Abyss...a little out of Banes sense range. This however does not mean that Bane is without recourse or now planned revenge. I am new as a DM in regards to the FR. Zhentil Keep seemed over-extended and inviting to such an attack IMO. Anyways, Bane has made Scyllua his new Chosen (for now) and is in the process of striking a deal with his "allies" in Hell and elsewhere. As far as the Abyss and other High Ranking Demons go, they like what Orcus is trying to do (campaign spoiler) in trying to open a permanant Gate between the Abyss and the FR--thus making it much easier to bring demons into the Prime Material Plane---once this is done, Orcus will leave the FR and the PCs to fend for themselves as Orcus only "trusts" his demons to run operations for him. Cormyr is mobilizing their forces, but have refrained from launching an attack at the advice of The Simbul who has already faced the PCs once and drove them back from their march on Hillsfar with ease. As far as the Gods of the FR go, AO (me) has forbidden the Gods from getting personally involved in the affairs of mortals to such a degree as they had during the Time of Troubles. Ao is giving Orcus a little more room to work with as Orcus is "new" to the ranks of the Gods and has thus far only attacked Banes' interests. What is next for Evil PCs? Scyllua, 2 high preists, a Manshoon Clone, and 2500 troops are going to return to Zhentil Keep and attack in hopes of retaking the city. Also, Bane is going to see to it that some extra help finds its way into the battle.... such as a platoon of Barbazus and 4 Max HD pit fiends. If the party thwarts this attack, which I don't think they will this time, Bane will dispatch an Infernal (from the ELH) to drive them out and kill them. Currently the forces of Good are not getting directly involved since it is Evil fighting Evil, which is not a bad thing to them at this time. The Simbul who drove the PCs away from Hillsfar in 1 round is not overly worried by them, but will take them out if forced. Elminster would take extreme interest in this.... but (future adventure spoiler) Elminster has been trapped in Magical Drow Black Ice and is need of some rescue. Opinions are welcomed. Thank everyone for your input thus far. |
| Mirtek08-09-03, 09:21 PM | Originally posted by thalious Yes, I may have played Fzoul too weak, but in all honesty, the PCs attacked Zhentil Keep out of the blue (so to speak), thus leaving little room for Bane or anyone else to have forseen it or plan againt it---reason for this is that the plan was concocted in the Abyss...a little out of Banes sense range. Doesn't matter where the plans were made, Bane doesn't sense the plans, he senses the event. And this event happend on Toril. He would know that this attack would happen on time X at place Y. That's anything he would know and anything he would need to know. |
| thalious08-09-03, 09:32 PM | Following that logic which I have read up on the Dieties and Demi-gods books leaves little room for surprise--which help turn the game into something boring. IMO, gods can surprise other gods. While some gods may be omnipotent in some areas such as AO, Bane is not among them IMO. Seriously, how would anything ever get done if the gods always had knowledge of when, where, and so forth. It takes away some of the FUN to run the game that way. Yeah gods are powerful, but in general I am not looking to have my players directly confront them. MY current PCs are working for Orcus who is now a God, but this relationship will not last long. |
| saankiip08-09-03, 10:11 PM | I agree with Thalious - having the Gods sense everything in their portfolio is kind of silly; and it has never sat well with me. And I am another GM (Ao) who has forbidden the Gods to mix it with mortal's affairs directly . Having said that, they do give their chosen/followers guidance and clues. Just my thoughts - each to their own :D saankiip |
| thalious08-09-03, 10:32 PM | I guess I should have had Bane give his people some warning, but IMO, Bane was too busy pursuing other interests and was over-confident in the abilities of Fzoul. Also, at the time I ran this session, I did not have Dieties and Demi-Gods Book to use to help tailor the adventure, thus I knew nothing about the Gods new found Uber-senses. Anways, Bane is far from gone, just going to move his HQ to Darkhold while the Battle for Zhentil Keep gathers momentum. |
| Amoun08-09-03, 11:23 PM | Well its alright that you were unprepared for the attack on Zhentil Keep and it is perfectly up to you whether dieties should have these "uber-senses" (To be honest I find it as well a tad bit exaggerated) but to be honest I cannot fully swallow the idea that Our happy Fzoul is dead. I respect your decision to let him die, but if I was him I would have had a status clone hidden somewhere just in case I died, considering I am not an evil plotting leader of a huge organization and have not had multiple assassination attempts... well I think he would have a lot more than the status clone... but either way Fzoul is too resourceful to die permanently like that (now if the pcs soul binded him and made sure he didnt come back, thats a whole different story)... I still believe Scyllua is too weak of a person to take the mantle of "Chosen of Bane" and bane would realize that there are far more worthy candidates out there. It probably is too late but dont let Fzoul die off like this, he is one of the most interesting npcs out there... Even if you choose to have him be removed as Bane's chosen well then make him still be alive, plotting against the pcs, and very very very mad that he is no longer banes chosen... But just dont let the poor sap die like this, he is far too experienced to allow some powerful adventurers to destroy all that he has worked for, he worked to get his status for decades... which is probably a lot more than the Pcs... As I believe you are slightly unprepared on the entire Orcus/demon issues, I will give some advice. If I sound condescending in the least bit, I seriously do not mean it. I just want to give you some advice, as both a DM and as a pcs I am far more experienced than you when it deals with the abyss, baator, and the blood war. Also I have read every book that was published on the issue :) Firstly, no Demon trust another demon, its just a matter of fact, they rarely trust each other. Secondly, the Abyssal Lords would feel very very mad at the fact that Orcus has been able to ascend to godhood. It matters little to them that he plans to open a permanent portal from the abyss into Toril (Forgotten Realms). Because most likely he would open a permanent portal somewhere in his lair of the abyss and have HIS demons go through and reap the rewards of the prime material plane. This would inevitably increase Orcus' power, not the other abyssal lords. Also Asmodeus (Ruler of the 9th layer of hell and inevitably all of hell) would be watching Orcus very closely... Because believe me Asmodeus did not remain ruler of hell without being very cautious. Orcus would have to deal with the many "inconveniences" Asmodeus would send his way... Also Demogorgon and Graz'zt (the other Abyssal Lords are either too weak or too uninvolved to make a difference when dealing with Orcus) would make sure that Orcus is thwarted at any attempt to increase his own power. Remember these are chaotic demons, the only reason that they do not rule the multiverse is because they are incapable of working together and more often than not destroy their own plans. So leaving Orcus create his nice little portal would definately be thwarted by the other demons. Graz'zt and Demogorgon have a very long standing feud with Orcus and each other... Something that has gone on for a lot more years than anyone can count. Just because he is opening a portal that still would be no reason for them to not do anything to severely hamper his attempts to gain more power. So both Demogorgon and Graz'zt would concentrate their attacks on Orcus. After all they are pretty scared that he will be coming for them soon... They are not below working with powerful mortals to aid them in the prime material. What I am trying to say is that do not make the ascent of Orcus this easy... He has hardly had any opponents. Even if Ao has stated that gods leave the issue... he gave no such decree to Devils, Demons, powerful mortals and what not... And believe me both devils and demons would have very big reasons for Orcus not to succeed. I agree with the fact that good gods would leave evil fight itself... but if Orcus came out victorious, they would send quite a few champions to ensure that Orcus' plans failed in the Prime Material. Orcus has just way too many enemies for him to have an easy time... Demons (except those working directly under him) would was him to fall as he is a big threat, I mean a god like Orcus may very well take over a big chunk of the abyss (well its infinite but big chunk is still possible  ) and that does not bode well with any demon. Devils would want him to fail as he is posing a threat and unbalancing the blood war out of their favor. The Yugoloths, the mercaneries of the blood war, would also aid the devils into winning more victories... If you read Hellbound, you'd know that the Yugoloths have been manipulating the war since its beginning and they have no wish for it to end. Unless Orcus somehow convinces them that he has no interest in the blood war anymore, that would be a truly epic achievement for a abyssal lord who greatly aided the demons int he blood war for thousands upon thousands of years. Anyway I am just suggesting things, the BoVD does not in any way cover the gigantic magnitude of the blood war, its effects and what not. In fact it barely makes the Abyssal Lords and Rulers of hell hardly a challenge. So boosting them up a bit would be adviced... Anyway, there is nothing more irritating to PCs than an opponent that just wont die... Fzoul could be this re-occuring opponent... until the pcs make elaborate plans to make sure he is not coming back... Fzoul would just keep coming back :) One more thing, the black network has many resources... So if the Zhents were to attack they'd attack more than with 2,500 troops. They would also have some sky mages with them (wizards riding some kind of flying beast... wyvern, griffon... some are even rumored to ride a dragon). Just a thought... |
| thalious08-10-03, 05:17 AM | Amoun, Thanks for you insight and advice. I don't plan on leaving Fzoul dead, but if the PCs want to think that..... I don't mind. The status clone idea I like--one I have used in the past to great success. I have been toying with the idea of Fzoul upon his "death" becoming a Lich and the PCs killing him does kinda make this plan very possible and easy to implement. As far as the 2500+ troops who are to retake Zhentil Keep, I know the Zhents can muster more troops and allies, but I really dont think they will need anymore--also if the PCs somehow manage to win, it gives Bane (me) the chance to break out an Infernal from the ELH to destroy the infidels. I see your points about the other Abyssal Lords and Orcus and will keep it in mind--my planar knowledge is like 1 rank or .5 if even. Good idea about Orcus hiding the Gate and also about how the other demon lords would oppose him in his plans. I have not counted out Asmodeus, Hell, or other planes, people, etc from having an interest in Orcus' plans. Presently I have party of characters doing Asmodeus' bidding, they just don't know it yet and it just so happens that this party had defeated the PCs working for Orcus in the past--that defeat is what landed these PCs into Orcus' clutches in the first place . I am not the most experienced DM in regards to the planes or the FR, but I am not a newbie either--been DMing since '87. P.S. The Simbul is watching these events very closely and will pounce upon the PCs again, this time with no mercy, if Orcus tries to push his influence beyond Zhentil Keep--which of course he will. I also run a party of Epic good characters who in time are going to directly oppose Orcus and his PC minions if any survive the next few sessions. Amoun feel free to critique and offer your advice on the matter. No plan is set in stone or paper in this case until the session is run, done, and the XP awarded. |
| Amoun08-10-03, 05:25 AM | Well I'm glad I am of some use. I also am glad that you are taking some of my suggestions :) Weeeeee, I feel loved :D anyway if you want any specific advice for planescape or the Blood War, just send me an email amounayoub@yahoo.com *shrugs* I am always glad to help in those areas. I also have stats for a new abyssal lord if you are interested and many goodie npcs of the realms that were previous pcs :) Anyway always glad to be of service |
| Blackguard Sykes08-10-03, 10:07 AM | why.... Why Zhentil Keep!! Why not Waterdeep.. Nooooo its always the keep that gets beaten.. Who was forced into becoming Cyrics twisted play ground - Zhentil keep.. What was laid in ruins after Cyrics mad (and idiotic) plan backfired - Zhentil Keep!! Anyway perhaps I should try to find a DM like you!! That way I could apparently destroy everything and become the worlds rules…. Just because I’m Epic (shutter)!! so you plan to sent 2500+ troops after the PC.. If you don’t mind me asking what of the Bane’s Clerics - They have just lost their chosen so they would be p..... !! In the Lord of Darkness book is stats that there are about 8000 clerics of Bane - I gather that most of them would be in that arer so lets say about 4000 religious fanatics seeking revenge - Best of luck to yout PC's !! Then there is of course the Zhentarim!! Since Fzoul were leader of that organisation og mages, clerics, elite fighter and assassins I imagine they to would be upset by this "little" setback.... Who ever rise as the new leader may be perfectly happy with Fzouls dead but the PC’s are most likely to get the Zhentarim after them (just out of principle) - And of course the Zhentarim would them bring their allies along - Typically mercenaries, Orcs and Ogres recruits from Thar, Beholders, Drows, Forces of undead (Baneguards, Banedeads, perhaps even vampires) and perhaps a Black Dragon who lives in the local area could be persuaded by the promise of a HUGE amount og gold to lent a hand in hunting the PC's..... Anyway - Just my opinion..... |
| Mirtek08-10-03, 11:00 AM | Originally posted by thalious thus I knew nothing about the Gods new found Uber-senses. Actually, compared to the senses they used to have in 2e, the gods are basically completly blind in 3e |
| thalious08-10-03, 02:23 PM | Blackguard Sykes, I have not discounted Banes Clerics or the Zhent Mages, I am hoping that my players will though. If the PCs do, then I will launch a sneak attack directly at the PCs using the Clerics and Mages. Also, the PCs may have won the first round easily, but that does not mean that they will have a cake walk or will become "world" leaders. I suspect soon, that where the PCs stand, a smoking crater will remain...... unless they manage to gain some more allies other than Orcus who could careless what happens to them or anyone else---and will turn his back on the PCs at the first signs of failure. Mirtek, I never knew about the Gods senses in 2E either as I used my 1E gods book back then and don't recall anything about a gods Uber-Senses. I view the Uber-Senses like this, I will use them when it serves my campaign. I run the Gods, not the other way around. amoun, thank for the addy. I might e-mail you tonight as I sit at work and scheme up more idea for Mondays session. I hope all the players will be able to make it....... |
| Shylo Slick08-10-03, 11:47 PM | Sounds like a good time for a true worshipper of Bane to take the mantle... e.t., the Dark Druid and his High Hands of Bane Adventurers, of course you will have to lower their levels from their 2e days. all the High Hands 2e stats, along with the Dark Druid can be found in the module "Halls of the High King". the "Halls of the High King" module can easily be converted to 3e, and is a great way to introduce the Risen Cult of Bane, the rise and fall of Xvim, and the return of Bane to the realms, with just a little modification. |
| Numos308-30-03, 12:07 AM | I personally think that maybe Manshoon would somehow gain leadership of the remaining Zhents and rebuild the city. |
