| Dempster02-06-08, 11:56 AM | Has anyone found the post detailing this favor from Undermountain. Chris said on the 8th of January that it would be posted by the end of the month as promised on the cert. I have been unable to find it. |
| trollbill02-06-08, 10:16 PM | According to customer service, the article should be up soon. |
| WotC_Tulach02-08-08, 09:01 PM | The article will be up this next week. Sorry for the delay. |
| Dempster02-18-08, 12:38 PM | Still waiting................................. .............................. |
| Sieylianna02-19-08, 08:56 PM | Still waiting................................. .............................. And what does this have to do with Living Forgotten Realms? Ed |
| JohnduBois02-19-08, 09:42 PM | And what does this have to do with Living Forgotten Realms? Ed There is a popular assumption that since the favor comes from an FR mod and there was a delay in releasing the text, that the benefits are related to LFR in some way. |
| Dempster02-20-08, 02:57 PM | There is a popular assumption that since the favor comes from an FR mod and there was a delay in releasing the text, that the benefits are related to LFR in some way. Exactly my thinking |
| Wavester02-21-08, 01:13 PM | I don't think so. Just my opinion but I don't see something from an old addition being usable in the new one. |
| JohnduBois02-21-08, 05:16 PM | I don't think so. Just my opinion but I don't see something from an old addition being usable in the new one. Does it make any less sense than items found in the Forgotten Realms magically end up in the hands of different PCs in another world entirely (read: everything else that came out of Undermountain)? I'm guessing LFR-related, simply because I can't think of anything else that would delay the announcement until January instead of, say, after GenCon was over and you couldn't get the cert anymore... |
| gomeztoo02-22-08, 03:25 AM | Delays happen often enough. It's no that strange, and can simply be caused by people not having enough time to devote on it. |
| mostevilernie02-25-08, 09:14 PM | Any word yet? |
| Dempster02-26-08, 03:20 PM | I doubt we will see any action on this now since all the RPGA guys are busy with preparations for DDXP. From Chris's last post it sounds like this is ready and just needs to be posted. It would be nice if Chris, or someone from RPGA could just post what it does on the boards. Or at least tell us when it will be done...maybe just tell us what campaign it is for. Something....please. |
| mostevilernie03-02-08, 06:52 PM | Lacking an official statement, I suggest we conjecture... The favor grants transposition and translation of one LG character into the new LFR. |
| Lightblade03-02-08, 08:35 PM | This was revealed at DDXP, at the RPGA members' meeting. This favor will increase the size of your Player Rewards card stack for your LFR characters by one. IE: your stack in LG is one per four character levels, round up, so if LFR used a similar metric you would figure out your stack size and then add one to it. |
| Keith5303-03-08, 03:12 PM | Yes, the favor grants the player the right to add one more player reward card to stack used in LFR. I do need to say, the formula for number of RPGA player reward cards used in LFR has not been decided/announced. Do not assume it will be the same as LG. May or may not. | Cruhl_the_Wise08-04-08, 02:08 PM | With the LFR Character Creation Guide now available, am I correctly understanding that any LFR character created by a player who successfully completed Undermountain Adventures: Tomb of Belkram, and earned the Favor of Clan Melairkyn adds one to his or her Stack? Level 1 Cards Gained = 3 Total Cards in Stack Limit = 3 Level 6 Cards Gained = 1 Total Cards in Stack Limit = 4 Level 11 Cards Gained = 2 Total Cards in Stack Limit = 6 etc. . . |
| Timlagor08-06-08, 09:04 PM | 1) A single character can have the cert a player gets from that adventure allocated to them. 2) I believe you have the details right but I haven't checked the default numbers. |
| JohnduBois08-07-08, 12:22 AM | Has the promised web article for this ever come out? Does someone have a link to it? Or should we just print "random post quoting Tulach" as evidence? |
| Timlagor08-07-08, 06:35 PM | There was something official somewhere.. but I don't remember where. |
| Cruhl_the_Wise08-07-08, 07:55 PM | Yes I have seen it too, but can not find it now. I remember it being in a Question and Answer format at the bottom of an article of some sort. . . |

| trayburn08-07-08, 11:36 PM | http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/news/20080519a Sean, the text of the cert says it can be exchanged at GenCon (or DDXP) 2008 for the actual cert. Is this going to be done, or will just having the original cert suffise to authorize the extra card? |
| smerwin2908-08-08, 08:20 AM | Unless you hear otherwise, having the original cert will suffice. Just make sure you write the name and number of your LFR character that will gain the benefit of the cert. Thanks, Shawn LFR Global Admin |
