Races in 4.0 Realms Campaign Setting? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-03-08, 06:21 PM So, we know that there will be 8 Races in the PHB, and another 3 in the MM available to those with creation cards at campaign start. I believe it was also stated that the FRCS would have two races for PCs written up: Drow and one other. Is it too early for rampant speculation on the ability to play drow, or the identity of this last race?

My guess is that the Genasi are the last race, and they will be a player option, if only because the region corresponding to Canada is the home of the genasi.

* Introduces the Swordmage class
* Regional backgrounds, new feats, and more

I believe the release date is September.
