| Tyberian05-16-07, 06:10 PM | The heretic of faith feat states that when the feat is taken, the cleric (and I guess possibly the Divine Crusader) could replace one of his domains with a domain that is appropriate to the heresy. If you later take up a prestige class that allows you to gain an additional domain, are you limited to the original domain list or the expanded one? looking for comments on both exact rules and house rules. |
| Dielzen05-16-07, 07:47 PM | If you have access to domains, you can exchange any one domain you have already selected for another domain outside domains normally available to your faith. The new domain must be consistent with the tenents of your heresy (as adjudicated by the DM). The list of available options for your deity does NOT change, you just have the option to make a one-time change of domains to better suit your slightly shifted version of your deity. Gaining another Domain later on that restricts to those your Deity allows goes on the base list for your Deity, as there's no "alternate list" to select from. |

| Dielzen05-18-07, 04:58 PM | I would think (tho I'm not in front of my books) that you'd have to detail the heresy and select an appropriate domain or 2 based on that. The domain must fit the heresy, not vice versa :) |
