Ody_Saraph_of_Karsus 01-03-08, 05:36 PM	In the FRCS states that Kelemvor's clerics only turn udead.That got me wondering: 1) since they only turn undead that means they can only use positive energy, does that mean he doesn't accept evil clerics (like St. Cuthbert) or is he an exeption to the rule? 2) If The answer to #1 is "Yes" how will a Paladin operate in a church with evil Clerics? :confused:

I don't know about Kelemvor, though, after all, he did want to get rid of the "evil god of death" image.
Bonzai 01-05-08, 02:46 PM	I imagine that each individual order has it's own special tenants and alignments that it accepts. While they all fall under the umbrella of the Church of Kelvemor, each facet has it's own interpretations on his dogma, agendas, and practices.

Still, if a Paladin of Kelemvor met a Cleric of Kelemvor who was LE, I wonder what his reaction would be like:) Bet they teach their pallies "Remember, the fact that someone radiates a red colour doesn't necessarily mean that you trigger "smite mode" instantly."

Of course, if Kelemvor does see fit to continue to supply the ******* with powers, then maybe He wants to somehow test his true servants - or the ******* has some mission for Him that the paladin should not interfere with... yet.

MarkusTay63 01-06-08, 02:25 PM	Of course. Campaign-specific lore always over-rules the core books; that is their purpose, after all. Just like in core, Monks can't multi-class freely, but in FR, they can do so.
