But I have to admit, I rather liked the bureaucratic side of Amaunator. I'm going to wait and see what the designers actually DO with this god before I decide what my preference would be.:)

Mr. Wilson 03-06-08, 12:58 AM	I think he's more likely to be LN than LG myself. I also am playing a LN cleric of Lathander with the heretic of the faith feat about to discover Amauntor's call, so I may be biased a bit....

Lathander was the God for Militant Neutral Goods. Yes....he was the EMBODIMENT...getting Good done at any cost. Chauntea will still be neutral good though... You are right. NG is treated in some way as almost less good than LG. The same with CE and NE/LE. Remember 2nd ed. artifacts and those regalia...the full powers could only be activated by either a LGer for the good ones or a CEer for the evil ones...weird... And then paradoxically you would hear how Elysium is the MOST good of all planes and that the Yugoloths are the most evil baddies around... weird huh?

Although, it would be nice if there were LG human gods that were a bit "softer" than, say, the Triad (I'm thinking of the halfling goddess of home, hearth, and friendship, for instance). Come to think of it, are there any female LG human gods? I can't think of any. LG doesn't always have to be about temporal laws, justice, paladins, etc.
