Attack Increase [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-29-07, 01:40 AM I am currently playing a lvl 5 Dwarf Paladin. I have a +1 Halberd as my main weapon. What is the best/cheapest way to increase my attack rolls. I am considering either trying to go to a +3 Halberd or obtain an item to increase my strength. Any ideas?

06-29-07, 02:23 AM take both if you can , if not ,take first something tha improves your strength, it helps you even when you loose your weapon and have to fight with a replacement

06-30-07, 02:09 PM There are a number of different things you could use. Get yourself a +2 or +3 Halberd, as you said, get an item that will increase your strength and thus your attack and damage rolls, you can take the Weapon Focus feat with your preferred weapon, or you could just cast spells on yourself that would increase your strength or attack rolls. As a paladin I'm sure that you get a number of them, even for 1st level spells.
