Akordya 06-07-07, 09:05 AM	First I would like to say well met since I am new to this forum :) Ok now to my question: I play a cleric of Kelemvor in a campaign my husband started but I am having a lot of trouble finding the informations I need. 1- How do you call a priest of Kelemvor? Lathander has morninglords, Loviatar has her pains, Helm has watchers etc... (info taken in FR adv.) 2- Under Kelemvor description (in FR campaign setting) they say he is popular in the Western Heartlands but I cannot find any cities that has a temple of the Death god in that region. Does Kelemvor has a major temple where my character could go in pilgrimage? 3- Since there is no Kelemvor temple in the Dales (my cleric is from Ashabenford, Mistledale) to whom do I answer? Kelemvorites are all lawful so I assume: organized. I want her to have the Sacred Exorcist prestige class but all exorcists are chosen by their clergy... you see my predicament... no temple and high priest so no one to choose and train me. Can I assume all big major city also have a city of the dead in their cemetary? Run by a priest of Kelemvor? Or is there information somewhere that I could not find? thank you.

Akordya 06-07-07, 09:35 AM	Doomguide is a prestige class not how they call their priests. Not all clerics of Kelemvor are doomguides, I was looking for a more general term.

Akordya 06-07-07, 10:00 AM	It was but an exemple taken from, like I said, FG adventures when there was specialy priests, I quote: " Specialty priests of Lathander call themselves the Morninglords" and a bit further "The clerics of Lathander call both themselves and their specialty brethren the Dawn Priests..." page 22. Just trying to find something official concerning priests and clerics of Kelemvor besides prestige classes.
customdrapery 06-07-07, 10:09 AM	According to Faiths and Avatars, the church of Kelemvor, being relatively new, has not adopted any consensus as regards to titles. It also refers generally to Kelemvorites as "death clergy". As far as temples go, his only major temple (at the time of F&A) is listed as the Tower of Skulls in Ormath, being led by a high priest titled High Lord Doom. But, temples that had been dedicated to Myrkul, then Cyric are now generally back to Kelemvor. Of course, finding temples to Myrkul is also problematic, as he's (nearly) dead. On the Candlekeep website, there is a running list of all the named temples in the realms, check it out here (http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/temples.htm): Kelemvor does have a few, including three in Calimport alone. Incidentally, Morninglords were former specialty priests and are now a prestige class. Lathander's clergy are referred to as Dawn Priests or Dawnbringers.

The_Shaman 06-07-07, 11:55 AM	As for 3) I would presume larger cities will likely have a temple of Kelemvor to take care of their funeral services. I suppose a lvl 10+ cleric NPC could be considered devoted enough to take care of your training or at least ask Kelemvor for directions.

Or at least a shrine with attendant priests for the proper services. By the way, there is nothing to stop your DM from placing a small temple to Kelemvor in a convient locale
