Complete Champion Domain feats for the Realms? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-04-07, 06:15 PM Hey all, has anyone figured out the Domain focus feats (a la Complete Champion) for the various Realms domains? I'm mainly interested in the Hatred, Tyranny, and Darkness domains (for my bad guys). Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

08-05-07, 07:13 AM Complete Champion offers a sidebar that links the PH domains with other domains, so you can use the same feat (or any other game rule regarding domains) for other domains. The problem is that they stuck with the new domains found in Complete Divine (why didn't they make this with the domains found in Spell Compendium?).

What you can do is to make the same with the other domains. Relate these domains with the domains you need (mainly, the evil domain).

Darkness Devotion [Domain]
Your can manipulate darkness almost as if it were moist clay in your hands.
Benefit: Once per day, as an immediate action, you can bend any natural or artificial source or darkness or shadow to give you full concealment. This effect lasts for 1 minute.
Special: You can select this feat multipile times, gaining one addtional daily use each time you take it.
Special: If you have the abilty to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each turn or rebuke use you expend.

Hatred Devotion [Domain]
Your soul smolders with anger, easily consuming an enemy with likely feelings toward you.
Benefit: Once per day, as a swift action, you can use a ranged touch attack to cause a targeted enemy to become embroiled with hate towards you. If the target fails the allotted will save, the target must focus its actions on you, gaining a +1 profane bonus to attack rolls to attack you, but gaining a -2 profane penalty to Armor Class, all for the next 1d4 turns. The target may not make any actions that require concentration, such as spellcasting, for the duration of the effect. The Will save is DC 10+plus 1/2 the spellcaster's level.

I'm wondering about making the Hatred domain something similar to Good/Evil in that the NPC radiates a hatred aura that helps his allies? Or makes him even tougher?
