| Kenzuki01-08-08, 07:55 PM | Just for fun and to ease the tension about the deicide that is happening as of late. Let's take on the role of Ao and create some new deities! I'll go first! http://www.matthewmoranonline.com/Files/ITToolbox/MrClean.jpg Mr. Clean Title(s): The Clean One, The Shining One, The Great Cleanser Power Level: Demigod Homeplane: Brightwater Alignment: Neutral good Portfolio: Cleanliness, Sanitation, Hygene, domestic workers, purification. Worshipers: Maids, Butlers, Domestic workers, servants, neat freaks, germophobes. Cleric Alignments: LG, NG, CG Domains: Community, Creation, Water, Good. Favored Weapon: Magic Eraser(Mop) Dogma Cleanliness is next to godliness. History Many strange and wonderous things has transpired during the Spellplague. One of these was the ascension of a unknown servant of Sune who was once a lowly janitor at one of her temples. Due to his pious service to the Lady Firehair in helping to keep her house clean and pure, she sponsored his ascension into demigod status after he died of old age. Now he exists on as the keeper of her domain and patron to all who selflessly work to ensure the cleanliness of others and the world. Mr. Clean as he came to be called by his mortal servants is a humble deity who gets on well with others. Hardworking and honest very few deities have hostilities towards him, with many of the evil gods begrudgingly admitting to his usefulness. After all not even Bane likes his temple to look and smell like an outhouse. The only group of people that seem to despise and hate the new deity are the Cultists of the dead god Moander. It comes to no surprise that these two groups are opposed to one another. |
| Lord Karsus01-09-08, 12:16 AM | Retcon That Which Always Was, The Great Remaker Greater Deity Symbol: An leather-bound history book in a red circle with a slash running diagonally through it, from top left to bottom right. Home Plane: P.O. Box 707, Renton, WA, 98057 Alignment: TN Portfolio: Change, Memory, Loss, Addition, Reality Domains: Balance, Destiny, Entropy, Fate, Pact, Renewal Worshippers: 2e apologists, 3e apologists, 4e apologists Aliases: Richard Baker, Bruce Cordell, Chris Perkins Cleric Alignments: All Favored Weapon: Pen Dogma John Lennon and Paul McCartney were wrong. Feh, "Let It Be", indeed. Let nothing that you touch be unchanged. History The origins of Retcon are shrouded in mystery. Many believe that Retcon is a primordial entity, that simply has always existed, and will continue to exist forevermore. Others believe that Retcon was once a mortal, disenfranchised with everything around him, who wanted reality to be different. No matter what one believes, however, there is no disputing that Retcon is a powerful deity. Where ever Retcon goes, it has a deep and lasting impact. For example, Retcon removed Potions of Longetivity from the multiverse at large. Retcon once visited a specific Crystalsphere, and altered reality so that a specific Rogue science major's archenemy had impregnated his girlfriend. Retcon once visited another Crystalsphere, to have a Spelljamming pirate captain shoot a green alien after said green alien shot first. Retcon later changed this, as it no longer appealed to him. Suffice to say, where ever Retcon goes, things will never be the same again. |

| Kenzuki01-09-08, 02:49 PM | http://lemonodor.com/images/chuck-norris-arete-s.jpg Chorris Nuck Title(s):The Walker, The Delta-Force, Saurfang (to the orcs), The Ultimate Warrior. Power Level: Greater Deity (speculated) Homeplane:Wherever he is at. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Portfolio: Strength, Martial Arts, Battle, Agility, Roundhouse Kicks Worshipers: Smart People Cleric Alignments: All Domains: Strength, War, Charm, Death Favored Weapon: Law and Order (his fists) Dogma Proponents of higher-order theories of consciousness argue that consciousness is explained by the relation between two levels of mental states in which a higher-order mental state takes another mental state. If you mention this to Chorris Nuck, expect an explosive roundhouse kick to the face for spouting too much fancy-talk. History Chorris Nuck was once a monk and master martial artist who studied the ways of the Universe. One day he went outside underneath the night sky and tested his strength by roundhouse kicking at the sky. Lord Ao was so impressed that he elevated him to godhood. It is rumored he did this because he liked his job as Overgod. Chorris Nuck was once summoned to a meeting of gods by Lord Ao. He walked past Bane, Tyr, Tempus, Sune, Cyric, Shar and Mystra and walked up to Lord Ao where he promptly said "You're in my seat." Chorris Nuck is a fickle deity prone to oft hand bouts of rage, Lord Ao tolerates this because it serves as a buffer to the Far Realm. Since ascending to godhood he has attained many many worshippers enough to elevate him to Greater Deity status. He is even worshipped by other races than the humans most notably the orcish peoples who refer to him as "Saurfang". Lord Ao tried to explain to Choriss Nuck that only one deity in a pantheon could have a certain portfolio. Chorris Nuck then explained this rule to Tempus who promptly gave him the Battle portfolio. He then armwrestled Gruumsh and after breaking his arm recieved the Strength Portfolio. The Spellplague ravaged Abeir-Toril causing unknown destruction and death to the gods and spellcasters of Faerun. Mystra shouldn't have turned down Chorris Nuck's marriage proposal... |
| MarkusTay6301-10-08, 12:01 AM | http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/cor_gallery/89570.jpg Phat Lewt Title(s):The Fat Man, Big Guy, The Kingpin, Large Marge Power Level: Greater Deity (speculated) Homeplane: Brightwater Alignment: True Neutral Portfolio: Acquisition, magical items, mundane items, treasure, Pork Chops Worshipers: Adventurers Cleric Alignments: All Domains: Travel, Trickery, Trade Favored Weapons: The Scepter of Someone else's, a bag gold coins (sap) Dogma One should always strive to obtain other people's property, although not neccessarily when they are still using it. If its lying around for more then three minutes, then it falls under the laws of rightful salvage and should be 'acquired' as soon as possible. Try to dig up as many graves as you can, and rumage through as many tombs; Fallen Elf cities and Dwarven Holds should always be picked clean. History In the final days of Mystra and the Weave, Aumvor the Undying became even more greedy for Magical Artifacts, and went on a massive campaign of raiding dungeons, tombs, and ruins to procure as much of this kind of treasure as he could, in hopes of being the only being left with a massive arsenal of magic. He even went so far as to attack his long-time rival Larloch's stronghold, but was fended off by his minion-Liches. Larloch, for his part, locked himself away in the deepest chamber of his domain, coveting his existing magical items and safe gaurding them, thus becoming The Hoarder, AKA 'The Scrawny One', god of covetous ownership. Aumvor was raised to divinity by AO, who was fast running out of deities do to a ravenous, god-eating monster from the Far Realms known as "Phoreee". Taking the divine name Phat Lewt, Aumvor continues to send his clergy against his nemesis The Hoarder, and supports any adventurers willing to 'liberate' items from other people's cache's. |
