just wondering if there is a deity that has the domain of dream cause i have a cleric who would like that as one of his domains but cannot find a god in the forgotten realms that has that domain, i was thinking that he could take shar or selune, any thoughts?

Shar used to have both the portfolio of nightmares and sleep so I could see her having that domain, yes.

I'm not up to date on the mechanics of the Dream domain, but if it's more benign, than Selune. If it's more malevolent, Shar. And if it's a toss up, I'd say to give access to it for both deities.

I would also accept Sehanine Moonbow and Lliira, since both deities communicate with their devouts through dreams.

I'd say definitely for Sehanine... Not so sure about Lliira. I'd imagine a lot of deities would communicate to their worshippers via dreams.

Communicating via dreams is a bit different than having influence over dreams in general... Sehanine seems a good match up, though I'd say Shar or Selune were both kinda iffy really, depending on how you interpret what their portfolios mean. Lliira I would definitely say no to. Can't think of anyone besides Sehanine I would really give it to though to be honest... possibly Savras if you want to go the whole mystical route with him, but its stretching things quite a bit.

I kind of agree, I'd say all deities contact their worshippers through dreams once in a while, but I think Sehanine does it a lot more than others.

*this information is relevent to the current FR campaign I am in. It's a proccess I have been working on for a very long time now.*

I have a character who is currently working on a plan to assume godhood and the potfolio of dreams. He currently follows no deity. The plan I have put together took me well over a year of research and work to formulate. It's one I would love to see in print some day if possible.

Character Name: (not his full name) Ru Mori'ereg
Class: (currently) Dread Necromancer 20 / Wizard 15
Race: Fey'ri
Template: Lich

Can outsiders be liches?

By the rules, the lich template can only be added to an humanoid creature.

So fey'ris cannot be liches.

Though in FR canon there's a Tiefling Lich (a member of the Twisted Rune, Shangralar the Black, I think?)

Aye, I remember reading that. And I also remember reading something about a genasi trying to be a lich, but as she's an outsider it's bad boos to you, Fritzy!

I believe it's in the Underdark book somewhere.

Dreams are often portents of the future. Diviners are often associated with foretelling things in their dreams. Under that premise, I could see possibly Savras having access to the dream domain. Also, and this would be up to a DM, might Dendar the night serpent have some chance of gaining followers akin to demon lords?

The tiefling I mentioned is one of the Runemasters of the Twisted Rune. I believe he's given a one-line race/class/level listing in Lords of Darkness.
