So in the little blurb for the third book of the Empyrrean Oddyssey (the storyline with Aliisza) it says something to the effect of the very nature of the cosmos being changed forever. obviously this is a 4e transition device but regardless is there nething already written such as in GHoTR to indicate wat kind of a change we're talking about here?

Presumably it has something to do with the death of Mystra and the destruction of the Weave... at least that seems a logical conclusion.

Book 3 of the Empyrean Odyssey is probably about two years away, at least. Only the first book has been published so far. Until the whole series is released, we are as in the dark about the plot developments as you are.

How much detail do you want? It's been a while since I read the book, but I'll try my best to give you some quick facts:

Do you know of Aliiza the alu-fiend and...what's his face from the War of the Spider Queen series? The fiendish companions? Basically, there are two plot threads going on at once--one where Aliiza finds herself in the House of the Triad, the other where the other guy (forgot his name!) is travelling with a priest of Bane through the Plane of Fire in order to reach the City of Brass. Aliiza was taken to the heavens only because the angel helping her (working on behalf of Tyr) wanted to save the soul of her unborn child. Aliiza finds herself desperate to save her baby...but you find out there is more going on than simple motherly love on her part.

The priest of Bane turns out to have been a priest of Cyric. Aliiza's child turns out to have been the offspring of Pharaun (an often talked about drow character from the WotSQ series). That's a crappy synopsis, I know, but the best I can do right this moment. :)

i know but wat i specifically asked was whether there was nething in GHoTR or nething else to indicate what this blurb might refer to. such as mystra's death.

-As of right now, there is nothing in AGHotR that we can specifically tie to this series.

Sounds to me like we'll be seeing first-hand the reorganization of the planes into their 4E configurations. But everyone's right, we really won't know for quite a while.

* wild idea*

what if the cleric of cyric that entered the home of the triad, sow the seed of mistrust and strife that leads to the fight Tyr Vs. Helm, what if that cleric has a potent weapon/spell/ritual to affect Tyr? what if the cleric ist just a vessel for cyric :plotting:

It's all a mystery until the book actually comes out.:)

See my above post.:)

But Rich Baker did say that certain ongoing series will involve the Spellplague. I'm 99.9% sure that will be the case with this series.
