| HoarsHandyHelper12-20-07, 09:30 PM | I've searched online but have been unsuccessful in digging up the 10th, 11th, and 12th level spells from the 2E resource, Encyclopedia Arcanum, which came with the Netheril: Empire of Magic Boxed set. I haven't run a game in some time, went into my storage for that oldie but goodie (been playing since '89) but was disheartened to find that particular item was missing from the set. :weep: Could anyone suggest an online source where the data is printed? As an aside, is it correct that we can only choose from this forums approved avatars? We can't upload our own? |

Level 10 Lefeber's Weave Mythal Mavin's Create Volcano Mavin's Earthfast Proctiv's Move Mountain Tolodine's Killing Wind Valdick's Spheresail Level 11 Mavin's Worldweave Proctiv's Breach Crystal Sphere Level 12 Karsus' Avatar We can't upload our own? -Nope. Saves bandwith, and makes sure that no one steals images, getting WotC in trouble. |
| HoarsHandyHelper12-20-07, 09:40 PM | That's helpful, thanks. I had forgotten many of the names and at what level the spells appeared. More to the point though, I need the spell descriptions. Did you happen to copy that from somewhere online that goes into the details? If so, could you provide a link? |

| HoarsHandyHelper12-21-07, 01:04 AM | If this info is available on the site somewhere, I haven't seen it. I've checked under resources, archives, and used the search function, but admittedly I haven't been to this site in a long while and a great deal has changed since then. Again, if anyone more savvy than I getting around in here could post a link, it would be greatly appreciated. |

| HoarsHandyHelper12-21-07, 02:03 AM | Wow, amazing. Thanks so much guys! |
| Karsus the Mad12-27-07, 01:05 PM | There's also a few that haven't had a write up in 2e (as far as I know). Ioulaum's longevity, Sunrest's sunshock, Karsus's heavy magic, and the 11th level spell Ioulaum first used to shear a mountain, whatever it may have been. |
| Jack_Hartwig12-31-07, 02:07 PM | Proctiv's Move Mountain was the one that sheared the mountain and made it a floating enclave. Although I don't know why Ioulaum didn't get credit for it. |

No he didn't. It's kind of hard for him to use a spell specifically designed by Proctiv to create enclaves 900 years before the spell was invented. Also, he used an "unkown 11th level spell" to shear a mountain top off, and used a variant reverse gravity spell to levitate it. He then placed one of his mythallars on it to keep it aloft. |

Ioulaum's Longevity is in one of the Volo's Guides. I think Volo's Guide to the North. It was also updated in 3.5e as an epic spell. It's in Lost Empires on page 42 or 43. |
| Karsus the Mad12-31-07, 10:18 PM | Ioulaum's Longevity is in one of the Volo's Guides. I think Volo's Guide to the North. It was also updated in 3.5e as an epic spell. It's in Lost Empires on page 42 or 43. It is mentioned in VGttN, it does not however have a write up. As I originally stated. The 3.5 Epic Spell version of Ioulaum's longevity is the Epic version Ioulaum researched after the Fall of Netheril. It is not the original 10th level version, as mentioned in VGttN. That's also stated in LEoF....right before the spell is given....doi:) There. I hope my extreme underline bolding made things clear. All these quandaries are pointless if those who are curious merely read NEoM and LEoF. One of them is even a free download on the Wizards site. |
| Zsych01-10-08, 03:56 AM | So, just assume that the 10th level Ioulaum's Longevity stops aging permanently and doesn't require sacrifices. What are you planning on doing in your campaign that 10+ spells are as issue? |
