03-29-07, 03:11 PM I would say that the drow pantheon is quite the same for both the races.
Ghaunadaur is the main god of the race, with Fenmarel Mestarine, and Shevarash I believe.

03-29-07, 04:30 PM Yes, there is a fey Pantheon, I don't think theirs any 3rd edition info on it, but the second edition Monster mythology has a whole section devoted to the fey pantheon. You could find a copy on ebay, or a pdf version on piazo I believe.

03-29-07, 04:45 PM Yes there is a Fey Pantheon in Faerun. Titania, Oberon, Emmantiensen, Queen of Air and Darkness, Tapan (sp?), and a few others I can't remember. When I get home I'll look them up, but there's definitely a fey pantheon in Faerun.

03-29-07, 07:48 PM And while not specifcally a 'Realms' sourcebook as such, I would recommend the d20 Faeries tome from Bastion Press for useful lore on the various elements that comprise the Fey pantheon.

It's a great resource, and was even partly edited by Steven Schend. Who had this little bit to say:-

"For those interested in another take/option on Faerie, there is a D20 option from Bastion Press y'all might want to take a look at.....

Bryon Wischstadt, long-time Realms fanatic and all-around good guy, wrote this guide to Faerie (both the realm/plane and inhabitants) and yours truly edited it alongside him. As both of us (and Jim Butler, Bastion's president, CEO, and chief cook and bottle washer) all have a deep and abiding love for the Realms, there's nothing in there that wouldn't work in terms of using Faerie as a source for ancient elves (or other more modern threats). It's a mix of old folklore and modern conceptions of Faerie and even stats up Old Man Winter, Father Time, and Father Christmas if you want such.

03-30-07, 12:20 AM There are at least 2 fey deities that are unique to Faerūn,

One is Lurue

The other is Shiallia (though I believe she is the daughter of Tappan)

There may be other unique Fey gods still extant somewhere in Faerun, and undoubtedly there were even more fey gods that were unique to Faerun in the ancient past, when the Fey folk had a greater presence in the Realms.

The daughter of Tapann the Undying and Sharindlar the Merciful, if legends are to be believed. An odd pairing, perhaps, but there's a legend that says the first korreds were dwarves transformed by the queen of the faeries in punishment for their greed.

Tapann replaces Damh on Toril. Perhaps they're different names for the same deity.

Thanks. I think it should have some decent info on fey. It focuses on fey as warlocks, but given the scarcity of fey material, it should be useful in other situations as well.

I also suggest checking out the Fey Feature articles by Gwendolyn Kestrel and Faith Price http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/fey.

03-30-07, 03:56 PM If you can get a hold of it, Monster Mythology (http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Mythology-Advanced-Dungeons-Dragons/dp/1560763620) had a section on the fey deities. To sum it up, you have:

Titania: Queen
Oberon: King
Damh: Satyrs
Eachthighern: Unicorns
Emmantiensien: Treants
Nathair Sgiathach: Sprites, Pixies
Skerrit: Centaurs
Verenestra: Dryads, Nymphs

and then there are the eladrin and elf gods and blah, blah, blah.

I hope it's because a Fey book published by WotC is on its way :D
