| Amora_Swiftstrike02-14-08, 03:37 PM | So Feylings, Quicklings, and sprites basically make up there own gods right? If i read the book right.(cant even remember which one it is) Well based on that assumption I tried to get My DM to allow me to be a fayling. And the Godess that I made-up is called Sprinkle: The Godess Of Ice Cream! Sprinkle grants to her followers(me) 2 spell-like abilities. three times a day: Crave Ice Cream: Touch the one its cast on loses all will to fight and stops thinking of anything but ice cream. Effect lasts until the inflicted eats ice cream or dies. and Once a day: LoS: Turns target into an ice cream sundae. Dont know how to add saving throws to this. |
| Shiftkitty02-14-08, 04:01 PM | I think the modifier on the first one would be the target's Willpower, and the other maybe a Reflex save to avoid the effect. I think I'd switch the two, though. Make the first one an LoS attack, the second one a touch attack. PS: It's an ice cream sundae.;) Dammit, now I'm all hungry... |
| Amora_Swiftstrike02-14-08, 04:38 PM | "Lightning" (is what his friends call him) Also follows another god named Thunderbutt: The god of Flatulance. Grants the spell like abilities Clear Out Room: Fort save if they fail they pass out if sucess they run out of room And Noxious Gas:Any being (other than himself) caught in the gas for 3 rounds must make fort save or they begin to suffocate. if not out of gas the following turn they pass out |
| Shiftkitty02-14-08, 09:22 PM | Allow me to pass on one of our most cherished magic items. Perhaps your god of flatulence deposited this in our game back in 2e. Everfart Beans. Blame Stormy the Elf. We found a plate of beans in a dungeon. Uffy, our wizard, cast spells to detect illusion (why would a fresh, hot plate of beans be found in a dungeon?), and spells to detect poison. He never did the simple of step of checking to see if the beans were magical. Of course they were. Why else would they be in a dungeon? Uffy decided to pass, and we all thought this was a good idea... except for Stormy, who, after declaring "I LOVE BEANS!" started shovelling them into his mouth. Well, for each spoonful eaten you are cursed with 6 months of severe flatulence, Save vs. Spells for one week per spoonful. He failed, naturally, after polishing off the plate, a total of about seven spoonfuls. These beans began to show up wherever adventurers happened to be. Uffy's player, now my husband, is the only one left of the original group who remembers the beans, and he isn't telling anyone else why Uffy always politely refuses the beans at any dining establishment. You never know where they're going to show up. Here's the kicker. For the 3 and a half years Stormy was hyper-flatulent, he was known as (you probably won't believe this) Thunderbutt. Great minds think alike, I tells ya! |
| Amora_Swiftstrike02-17-08, 08:39 PM | Actually I do believe that Thunderbutt left those beans in your dungeon. He is a mischiefous god and he leaves stuff like that around all the time. This one time he hexed a carrot right before I fed it to our Elf's Horse (naturally I asked him to do this as the horse liked bitting me.) Horse didnt stop farting for about a year. |
| Shiftkitty02-18-08, 02:16 AM | LOL! In my not-so-serious chapters of my campaign there is a drow enclave on the High Moor attempting to re-establish the Miyeritar kingdom. They're a mixture of the old Llothite ways, however, and they have a Matron Mother who is a senile old bat. The archmage of the enclave is gay, and the PCs who have to answer to him (he runs the place for "Mother") are known as "F-Troop", after the old television comedy. They have a rothe to carry all of their field gear around. "Ritchie" the rothe is, as you can probably guess, quite gassy. He also ate the tents last session. |
| Amora_Swiftstrike02-18-08, 08:57 PM | We tricked a Drow into Drinking a "potion" that gave him explosive Diarea. (another gift from Thunderbutt) |
