realphilbo 03-10-08, 12:30 AM	Does anyone know if gem magic as printed in the Magic of Faerun has changed in the jump to 3.5 edition? I haven't noticed any source stating the existence of gem magic in 3.5. Also, the Attune Gem Feat in Magic of Faerun was not lproduced in the Player's Guide to Faerun... Anyone know?
Fabius Maximus 03-10-08, 08:57 AM	No update was published, so you can assume that it works in 3.5 just as it worked in 3.0e.
Green Elven Vampire 03-16-08, 11:28 PM	Yeah, it's still the same! 3ED and 3.5ED are actually really easily converted with one another. I've never had a problem playing 3ED and 3.5ED together at the same time.

Green Elven Vampire 07-21-08, 03:48 AM	I've actually grown fond of Gem Magick. There is a female friend of mine who plays a Female Moon elf Fighter/ Cleric of Sehanine Moonbow, who also happens to have just gained 2 levels in Mystic Wanderer! So far, in my eyes, her PC is pretty damn cool. She gets all her elven history and insight from myself and Lord Karsus's "Elves of Faerun", which I just had to suggest. And her background story is well thought out with documented elven lineage. (meaning real surnames from actual FR text). She plays well and fits in well with our 2 year crew we've been playing in. She reached 12'th level within a year and a half and damn I'm diggin' her PC. Gem Magick is a wonderful thing my friends.
