I would like to emulate the elves of the past and would like help knowing what they used and how. Well the concept for him has him being this ancient in age(immortal, from a spell that he had cast on him that is 9th level) elf that is from those times (like around the time of Netheril) What books are the rules(3.5e) for spell mantles(like in that Elminster book) and the Kirra(sp?) As well as frequent spells and specific magic items. Oh yeah, and play styles and behavior/beliefs too.

What books are the rules(3.5e) for spell mantles(like in that Elminster book) and the Kirra(sp?) The Spell Mantle feat can be found in Lost Empires of Faerun, as well as Kirra. Spell Mantles, according to the feat, aren't like the way they were presented in Elminster in Myth Drannor tho'. They're basically contingent spells (crafted with the Craft Contingent Spell feat from Unapproachable East) that can be trigger at will. As well as frequent spells and specific magic items. Lost Empires of Faerun has some elf specific items and spells. Oh yeah, and play styles and behavior/beliefs too. Depends largely on what type of elf you're playing.
