| chrono966510-09-07, 03:22 PM | Okay, so I'm currently Dming a campaign that is essentially a hunt for nether scrolls. But I really want it to be an artifact hunt more than anything else. One of the things my group is going to have to do is descend into the city of Maerymirden (sp?) during the time when Lloth has ceased giving her clerics spells so that they can sneak into her temple and retrieve what they believe to be a Nether Scroll when actually it will be the Warblade. My question is other than 'lost empires of faerun' have the three blades appeared anywhere else recently. I would hate to be contradictory to the timeline if i don't have to be. I was also wondering about the fate of the artblade; whether it's been recovered, in pieces, basically anything. I was also wondering if anyone knows of an artifact, or relic of mystra. I can't seem to find one. there seems to be a multitude that belong to lathender and helm even minor deities have some yet I can't find any for her. Thanks for any help guys |
| daimyotx10-11-07, 01:38 PM | The Artblade was recovered by Josidiah Starym in 674 DR The Warblade is still un-recovered.. however in 1374 ancient wards were triggered that alerted Isevele Miritar that the Warblade had returned to the Realms Above. |
| chrono966510-11-07, 06:45 PM | Okay then two questions? which realms above? as in aarvyndor or dweormerheart? and didn't the artblade blowup Starym along with itself during the fall of myth drannor? |
| Knightsword10-12-07, 12:04 PM | If I recall the artblade was carried off by a red dragon when he fell. |
| Alediran10-12-07, 12:41 PM | The Artblade was lost during one of the final battles of the Weeping War, when the remains of the Army of Darkness attacked one of the Magic Schools. Josidiah Starym "dies" (no corpse was found) after he salutes his two patron goddesses (Mystra and Sehanine), a powerful white ray of pure arcane power surrounds the Ary'Faern'Kerym and Josidiah goes on a rage that causes the complete obliteration of the tower and all it's attackers. It's rumored that the Artblade could still be with Josidiah in Dweomerheart or Arvandor, waiting for a worthy wielder. The sword that was stolen by a dragon was one of Demron's Baneblades. |
