My epic level cleric of Tymora is looking to increase his leadership score (from the epic leadership feat) to get even more followers to his cause, all in order to further spread the glory of lady luck of course:D

Power of Faerun gives alot of usefull info on how to accomplish big time goals and also provides lots of modifiers to add to your leadership score.
One that really caught my eye was "Shaper of the divine", which gives a hefty +10 to your leadership score.

But no matter how many times I've looked through the book I cant find anything telling me HOW one qualifies for this, nor how one would even go about doing it.

please help.

Its in there, page 53, under the "fractious sects within the church" section, in the last paragraph. Its a tad obtuse of an explantion of it, but I suspect its supposed to be, since there aren't really hard and fast ways to go about something like that. If you're looking for a mechanical system, its going to have to be extrapolated from the "giving edicts" section and go from there. Hope it helps some. :)

If you're refering to Daramos Lauthyr, he's pretty much been dismissed as a crank (he's pretty insane, at least that is the feeling I got from him every time he's appeared in fiction). The "true power" in the Lady's House in Arabel is Doust Sulwood, I believe. (I say true power in quotes because I don't think I can back it up with actual source material... It's a conclusion I've reached almost exclusively by reading between the lines.)

The reason Tymora manifested in Arabel during the Time of Troubles has something to do with the favour Myrmeen Lhal holds with her, or so the rumors go. ;) (Myrmeen is a Ranger of Tymora.)

You dont say? thats very interesting, thanks for pointing it out.
Only place I ever seen Daramos Lauthyr (and I always manage to mess up the spelling of his name) is in the Cormyr books, and there he only had a few brief apperances.
I knew Myrmeen Lhal was the lord of Arabel, but didnt think she had much pull in the church, I havnt had much luck finding alot of info on the current state of Tymoras church in sourcebooks or fiction, and apparently im a ways behind the times :plotting:

Heya,

I knew Myrmeen Lhal was the lord of Arabel, but didnt think she had much pull in the church, I havnt had much luck finding alot of info on the current state of Tymoras church in sourcebooks or fiction, and apparently im a ways behind the times :plotting:

I don't think she has much pull with the Church either, but I think that's more because she chooses not to - having Tymora's favour is definitely an advantage when dealing with the Church, though... I don't think Daramos likes her much. :)

Anyway, you have to operate from the assumption that there isn't much of a hierachy to Tymora's church, as she is a Chaotic deity and most her priests must therefore be CN, CG, or NG. Daramos's desire to be Tymora's pontiff is exactly the sort of thing other Tymoran priests would not appreciate - the reactions would range from a raised eyebrow, to outright laughing dismissal of Daramos being mad. Maybe a few would see it differently (we are talking about a Chaotic church), but almost certianly he wouldn't have popular support in his goals. Doust tempers Daramos, but I don't think he does much more than humor the High Priest, and subtly control his excesses.

Tidbits plus spoilers about Myrmeen:
In the current game year, Myrmeen is the proud mother of Vangerdahast's heir (the result of her... ahem... tryst with him in Elminster's Daughter), so I doubt she'd be active doing much more than ruling her city and raising a child. The little tyke would be somewhere between 6 months to a year old, I haven't been bothered to work it out exactly. We haven't been told what gender the child is, yet. Myrmeen is also around 51 years old. She has an adopted daughter, Krystin, who first appeared in the novel The Night Parade by Scott Ciercin, who would be 29 years old.
