I apologize for flaming you and letting my assumptions get the better of my reasoning. :::::::::::::::::::: An explanation: Shemeska/Tod is, IMO, highly knowledgeable about all things planar, despite his (relative) newness to the game. I believe I am not the only gamer to hold this opinion. Therefore his opinions are likely to hold more weight with gamers who are knowledgeable about his online work and freelance work (such as can be found in Dragon Magazine). My response to Tod’s idea (in the So whats with the Great Tree and no one liking Mystra? (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=818795) thread) that an in game explanation could have avoided issues of continuity was terse and unfriendly (to say the least). This was because my thinking was grounded in the assumption that Tod was intimately familiar with the business practices and subsequent design decisions of Wizards of the Coast circa 1997 - 2001 that lead to the FRCS and the Great Tree Cosmology, and that he was simply pretending not to know this information when he authored that post. I was also unhappy with his first post. I was certain he was prevaricating when he claimed uncertainty as to why the cosmology change happened, such that he told only half the story of why the Great Tree came about. So I went after him. And I’m sorry for that. I could have just as easily let my first post stand by itself, but I let my belief Tod was prevaricating and my strong disappointment in Tod’s freelance efforts to stitch Planescape back into the Realms cloud what passes for my better judgment. ::::::::::::::::::: It’s my intention to ‘start over’. I’m going to go back, so to speak, to those posts of Tod’s I disagree with or otherwise feel need clarification and respond to them as I should have. Where possible I’ll include links, quotes and other information so readers may see first hand the information I’m drawing upon to make my claims and support my reasoning.

I just learned about 1.5 hours ago that posting half an idea isn't itself a good thing to do, because he'll shred it if it's not complete. :eek: ;)
