| The Ranger04-04-07, 12:24 AM | Do improved familiars such as quasits grant skill bonuses like regular familiars do? If so, what would they be or where can I find a table showing what they are. Thanks in advance. |
| Stigger04-04-07, 01:24 AM | Not as far as I'm aware. Don't have the speak with their type or have the type change like other familiars do either. |
| TomCosta04-05-07, 03:35 PM | Improved familiars do not grant their masters the same little bonuses as standard familiars. Their "improved" nature is considered bonus enough or so it has been stated by WotC on a few occasions (though I might disagree in some cases). |
| The_Shaman04-05-07, 03:45 PM | There are some exceptions though - but then it's specifically listed what the bonus is. IIRC the flying snake gives the master +2 to saves vs acid, for example. |

Isn't their "improved" nature offset by the fact you have to take a feat (and it can't even be a bonus wizard feat) to get 'em? |

Aparently not to WotC, though individual developers may vary :) (Note: I don't have an opinion on this so much myself, haven't really taken the time to look over the list in detail, I was wondering about the skill bonus question though :)) |
