Information on Moander [Archive] - Wizards Community

Just started writing a campaign in which Moander will feature as a plot thread, but can't find any decent stuff.

07-31-07, 08:43 AM Moander had a detailed write-up in Faiths & Avatars. He's also mentioned in the Tsornyl section of Volo's Guide to the Dalelands, Cormanthyr, Demihuman Deities, Code of the Harpers and the Heroes' and Villains' Lorebooks. The Curse of the Azure Bonds module is also useful, since it ties in with the novel of the same name, and ties into the old SSI game also. See Power of Faerūn as well.

Okay, could you guys distract my wife while I get more stuff for the Shelf of 2nd Hand RP Books Which Will Likely be Read Once and Never Looked at Again?

08-02-07, 05:40 PM Do note that while he "might" still be accessible via the Servant of the Fallen feat (Champions of Ruin or LEoF), a big part of his portfolios have been taken up by Lolth and she essentially poses as him within Realmspace. So while servants of Bhaal etc. may call on him and get "divine essence" response from his dead body, it is more likely that Lolth would prevent such "communication" and instead pose and grant spells as Moander. This bit of info can be found in one of Faiths & Avatars' companion books, Demihuman Deities. Powers & Pantheons completes this great series on the FR deities.
