07-21-07, 02:25 AM I have searched the web and my library for new and unique Ioun Stones and the only source I've found is Lords of Darkness. The NPC Gallery outlining the lich Larloch features several new stones, but I'm looking for more.

Please tell me what book contains more Ioun Stones! I'm also interested in custom stones, but please include the price with your description. By the way, one book I don't have is the Magic Item Compendium (hope I won't have to rush out and buy it now).

Thank you.

08-09-07, 12:57 AM Generally speaking you could arguably take any use-activated, continuous, or command word magic item, double it's market price, and make it into an ioun stone. However, you still need your DM's consent to create a "new" magic item, or modify an existing one too much...and being slotless is can become a bit step towards broken or provoking a pre-emptive DM veto
