| boards06-29-07, 12:19 AM | I was rereading the Riftwar Saga and one of the abilities of the Valheru was to kill with a mind blast. The elder vampires of Anne Rice books have a similar capability, but was wondering if it exists in FR? The obvious parallel would be the mind blast of the Illithids, but it causes confusion not death. 1) Is there a Psionic ability that augments the mind blast so that it kills rather than stuns/confuses? 2) How is Illithid pronounced I-llith-id or Illi-thid or some other way? |
| wtf_thats_my_head06-29-07, 11:45 AM | there are mind blasts used by high level psions that can kill by turning the other person's brain to mush.say it ithild or mind flayer |
