Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss says that the leader of the cult of Orcus in a single world is called 'Skull' and when this Skull is powerful enough, he is sent to Thanathos to command an army of undead and, if victorious, be proclamed Skull King. I don't know if there is more than one Skull King. I only know Quah Nomag, the half-ogre cleric that appears in the Book of Vile Darkness (and mentioned as such in FC1). I think Quah Nomag is from Oerth, so, if he is, who is the Skull in the Realms? And If it is possible to have more than one, does he have the rank of Skull King? Thanks.

Quah Nomag is from some random world on the prime material as far as anything can be said. There's no indication that he was from Oerth, or Toril, or any other world that D&D players would, out of game, be heavily familiar with. He might even have been born on the planes for all we know, and not be native to the prime at all.

And so far as high priests of Orcus in the Realms. I figure someone in Vaasa, Damara, or possibly Narfell would fit the bill given their past history with Orcus, and tanar'ri in general.

Quah-Nomag is described as a prime in Dead Gods, so presumedly he's from a Material Planar world, somewhere. It says that his physical body resides on the Material Plane while he's astral projecting to Pandemonium, too.

But no, he's not explicitly from Oerth.

Thanks for the answers. I think I should suppose that there's no previous material concerning specific people in the Cult of Orcus in the Forgotten Realms. The main opposition in my game is the Cult of Orcus, so I wanted to know more specific information. If none is found, I should make the characters myself.
