Other Domains? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-23-07, 07:59 AM I'm making a multiclassed Knight/Cleric of Torm, and I'm wondering about the different domains in the Spell Compendium. Would it be feasible for him to have the Glory Domain as well as his others? I was thinking of going Glory and Strength, but I don't know if that would fit his type of Dogma. I would assume so, considering the guy rides on a dragon and is the epitome of knighthood and just causes. Thanks!

Reynolds made a list on his website (http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/we/ZZZexpandeddomainlisting_FR.html) long ago about domains of other sources in a Forgotten Realms game. There the Glory domain is listed as a possibility to Torm. Althought Mr. Reynolds is an official developer for Wizards of the Coast, this information is not considered canon.

Then again it wouldn't make much of a difference, since I wouldn't use standard Clerics and Domains anyway.

07-24-07, 09:21 PM If I had to swap a domain to gain the Glory domain, I'd probably switch it with Healing. It's more the domain of Ilmater in the Triad than either Tyr or Torm.

07-30-07, 03:52 PM The other Domain that makes alot of sense for Torm is the Courage Domain, most of the spells are weak unless you like having followers and keeping them alive, but the 5th level one is a real usefull doozy of a spell.

Oh yeah the Courage domain is in Complete Warrior
