Well, I just need some information. I have a player who is an arcane archer, and he devised a very interesting strategy. I have found it amusing, but i'm not sure it's allowed. He combined the thunder arrow spell with the frost arrow spell. Is this allowed?:thinks:

I just looked through the PHB, Spell Compendium, and a few other assorted books and can't find either of those spells..when posting specific questions it's usually helpful to provide the reference.

Without the specific spells in front of me, I can't provide a difinitive answer, but if you're refering to the imbue arrows ability of the AA, only area of effect spells can be utilized. If, like Flame Arrow (from the PHB) the spell lists a Target: # of arrows, the spell is invalid.

Also, imbuing an arrow and firing it is a standard action. It's all one action, you can't quicken an imbued arrow then imbue it again and then fire.
