captaincarot 11-11-07, 03:31 AM	well if you are the dm it's your game, so you decide and if you aren't the dm ask them. Because no list of spells on here would tell me which spells can and can't be made permanent in my game.
4everdm 11-11-07, 11:46 AM	I too was hoping there was an updated list of which spells can be made permanent, especially on one's self.
Craig C. 11-11-07, 01:34 PM	It seems a lot of the various WotC D&D sourcebooks published over the years have included spells with footnotes about their applicability to the Permanency spell. MarkusTay63 11-11-07, 01:36 PM	The current iteration of rules for creating magical items (which would include items with Permanency on them) are so convoluted I don't think the people who wrote them fully understand them. 4e promises to simplify the system, but until then it's really the DMs call about what can be done and what can't.
