These spells have a listed duration of 1 round... That seems oddly short for a 5th and 7th level spell; and would seem to reduce the desire to have these spells memorized for use? Has anyone else played with, or seen these spells used effectively with such a short, static duration? Just looking for insight, as I took initiate of lathander with my priest, and was seeing my new spells - these two seem rather unattractive, and I'm looking for some insight as to make them useful as I like keeping to the flavor of the character, and using deity specific spells would be desirable. Thanks in advance!
