01-13-08, 07:37 AM I think that with the coming of the Spellplague and 4th Edition it's about as good a time as any for Lathander to be reborn as Amaunator. What do you guys think of that possibility? Imagine what sort of god he'd be having a blend of Amaunator and Lathander's portfolios.

I have to admit I don't like the whole idea of Lathander turning into Amauntor.

01-13-08, 07:41 PM Guys, I said the new Sun God would be a combination of Lathander and the old Amaunator. A combination of their portfolios etc, he can still be the god of renewel, birth and whatever. It's just he's alot more powerful now and influential.

The Cycle has to be completed. Amaunator died and became Lathander (so they say) and the time for the Sun God to reappear is near.

It's kinda like a theory I've heard one of you say before about how you thought that perhaps Jergal willingly stepped down because he had the portfolio of Dusk and conincidentaly the guy who got that portfolio (Myrkul) was killed off. Now it looks like it's coming full circle again.
