As the title states, exactly how long had Lolth remained silent? I'm given the impression that it was about a year, but I'm unsure. Does any one else have other speculations on this? Some sort of confirmation would definitely help, thank you. :)

-Lolth went silent on Eleasias 28, 1372 DR, and 'returned' Ches 28, 1373 DR.

Eric's Volo's Guide article notes that Lolth's Silence began in Eleasis 28, 1372 DR and ends on Ches 28, 1373 DR.

Unless I am mistaken, neither book had the "end date" of the Silence. We had to wait till the GHotR to get the exact date, 2 years after WotSQ VI hit the shelves.

That's not entirely accurate. Eric Boyd's Volo's Guide article in DRAGON #354 [April '07] was the first published mention of both the start and finish dates for Lolth's Silence.

I stand half-corrected. WotSQ VI was first published in April 2005 ... and who reads Dragons
