| DoveArrow05-23-07, 01:16 PM | From what I understand, the World Serpent was a god that later became fragmented into multiple gods worshipped by the serpent and lizardfolk. I'm curious if there is any information about the World Serpent that isn't in Serpent Kingdoms or if this was the first place it was ever mentioned. Let me know. Thanks. |
| Tyberian05-23-07, 05:18 PM | Although I can't pull anything off the top of my head, I believe there is a very minute amount in Races of Faerun. And I really mean minute. The only reason to mention that is that there might be more info on it as it relates to Sseth and Set in some other publications such as the Yuan-tai trilogy and The FR source book on evil doers (Champion of Ruin? Is that the title?) |

| Gray Richardson05-23-07, 09:41 PM | The World Serpent is mentioned in passing at several points in Monster Mythology. He is also discussed in the Sseth entry in Powers & Pantheons on p.84. The World Serpent Inn is featured in OP1 - Tales from the Outer Planes. |
