VoP & Spellstaff [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-06-07, 06:04 PM Would a spellstaff made by a VoP druid count as a magic item and thus not be allowed for the druid to use or would it still be considered just a simple quarterstaff? What about the spell Fireseeds where you create Acorn Grenades or Holly Berry Bombs? In a way they could be seen as magic items but then again some could claim that they are just the material component of the spell. Any thoughts?

Try the general boards if spellstaff isn't from a FR book

And you could carry one just fine. Just because its magical doesn't mean it has a gp value. If I cast magic weapon on a VoP druids staff doesn't make it worth more.
