Now that the Watcher is dead, under circumstances I donīt completely understand, who will you worship?

The only option for me is going underground, like those Amanauthor priests, no way Iīm helping those do-goody Tormites!

By the way, where is Helmīs death depicted?

Helm isn't dead--not in MY Realms.

We learned about Helm's death, among many other things, in the Grand History of the Realms.

Iīm kinda sad that Helm is gone, but now Iīve got an excuse for being a bitter overpowered Cleric of Doom...

Yeah. Hoar the Doombringer would be my choice. Tyr must die. Tymora must die.

Funny, I've thought of it myself. I was a priest of helm/warpriest, and among others had a Paladin of Tyr in my party. I wonder how I'd react if I was informed his God killed my God. Anyway, to answer the question - I'd probably end with being a cleric altogether, and spent the rest of my days mourning the Watcher. Or I'd turn against the church of Tyr, blaming them for my misery.

Yeah. Hoar the Doombringer would be my choice. Tyr must die. Tymora must die.

Well, it's highly likely that Tyr really will bow out for 4E, thanks to that famous post by Greenknight (see Rich Baker's thread).:)

I nominate Greenknight for godhood for the realms in 4e.....

anyway, my aasimar paladin of mystra went to bahamut
my human paladin of helm went to bahamut as well.

any and all elven palainds went to corellon larethian

Well Torm and Helm were pretty good friends right? So I hope they have Torm challenge Tyr over this whole issue to settle it. I sure as heck wouldn't just stand by and let my boss kill my friend over something so stupid as a chick he's too afraid to woo on his own. I mean Helm didn't really DO anything with or to Tymora did he?

WARNING! EGO STROKING AHEAD!

I nominate Greenknight for godhood for the realms in 4e.....

I accept this nomination!

GREEN KNIGHT (DEMIGOD)
Lord of the Quest
Symbol: Green helm enclosed within a circle composed of leaves
Alignment: Lawful Good
Portfolio: Loyalty, Obedience, Chivalry, Quests
Favored Weapon: Greataxe

Me like! Only question is, what's his origin? Is this a former mortal Paladin who worshipped Torm, and discovered the location of Chalsembyr? or is this the son of Torm and the Red Knight? ;)

Knock it off, Rinonalyrna. You're making me blush. :)

On topic - with the Servant of the Fallen feat - Helm all the way.

Servant of the Fallen is a wonderful feat, I've used it for serving Bhaal before and it's a great angle.

A child of Torm and Red Knight would be pretty cool.

why not both
Lord Karsus

why not both

-The GreenKnight, son of Torm and Red Knight was born. Growing up, he was often a divine "doofus", since I can't use a word that begins with 'D', and rhymes with 'ickhead'. Thus, one day, Torm got angry, and petitioned Ao to take away his divinity. Ao agreed to the petition, and did so, citing Torm's reasoning. To reclaim it, Torm said through Ao as his proxy, the mortal GreenKnight needed to become a valourous and virtuous person, questing to find the the ruins of the mythical kingdom of Chalsembyr. Assembling a host of like-minded beings of good, the mortal GreenKnight did just this- reclaiming his divinity, as well as that of Tyr's, and changing his entire outlook on life in the process.

God damn it. There's a self-depricating joke in there, somewhere, but I can't think of one. :( (Rolled a 1 on my "Crack Wise" skill check) Which is a shame, because I am both a doofus and a d*ckhead. :D

Don't worry. I'll save plenty of worship for you too.:)

However, worshiping Karsus requires the Servant of the Fallen feat...featwise, Iīd worship the Green Knight, but as he is Lawful Good I still canīt make up my mind.

Well, if we go with the 4e logic that all 'lesser' gods are just 'fragments' of greater gods - almost like more powerful Avatars - then the rest of the "suit of Armor" must have also been among Tyr's minions.

So Gauntlet, Greaves, Breastplate, etc... should all still be floating around somewhere. :P

Although now, they'll all have to bow down to Torm.

BTW, I love that pic of EGO, Greenknight.

You know, I was only joking at first, but some of those would make an interesting "War Pantheon". :D

Can that be done? Paladin of Corellon Larethian

-Technically? No.

-There is a PrC- 'The Champion of Corellon Larethian' that is very much like an Elven Paladin, however.

now that is a good question.

if they could make Sune to have paladins, they could use the same escuse for CL.
nobody would be able to tell an elven paladin of CL from a fighter who worships him.

and in 4e in might be possible since the alignment trash was thrown out
Lord Karsus

-They could, but 3e has been here, what, eight years now, and they never did.

nobody would be able to tell an elven paladin of CL from a fighter who worships him.

-Mostly. Those close to this individual might wonder where his/her healing capabilities are, though.

and in 4e in might be possible since the alignment trash was thrown out

-Well, in 4e, the term 'Paladin' is being stretched to fit any alignment, so in 4e, it's all good.

Uhhh...nope. It's an infinate range spell. you don't need to know where the target is. You simply need to know they exist:)

Don't worry about facing, we're probably getting rid of that in 4e anyway...
