Does anyone have or can someone point me in the direction that I can get any information on this subject. I've been trying for a bit without any luck.

Some things that I would be most interested in finding out...
1) anything about Abdorabe
2) further information about the barbarian tribes of Narfell including the names and history
3) Nars are described as short and stocky with darkly tanned skin tones and straight black hair... but I am still having trouble picturing them... what real world ethnicity or culture are they most comparable to? I kinda picture them like steppe cavalry?
4) the current "state" of Narfell

thanks in advance

There is no mention of abordabe and its tribe in FRCS. It seems to lost its status has the largest tribe in narfell, if it still exist at all. Since abordabe was mentioned in bloodstone lands as a 65 year old man, and its been a while since, he might have just died in the meantime, and the tribe spilt apart into the other tribes.-just a theory.

There is very little lore about the Nar. There is an encounter with them in the third Rage of Dagons novel that may provide a little insight. They are tought mounted fighters and survivors, but there is very sparce information about thier culture. There is a Nar ranger in our group and she has written some stuff about her tribe, but cannon information about thier culture is very hard to come by. They have a vaguely native American flavor in our game, but I don't think any cannon lore really speaks to that. Because the Nar are very tribal you have some latitude in developing thier culture. If you develop a tribes social ideosyncracies one way and some new lore that doesn't really line up with what you've established comes to light later you can always attribute the difference to variations in tribal culture.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more usefull answer.

I always likened the Nar as to the Cossak tribes on the Russian steps.

Bloodwalker also has a Nars character in it. It may provide some flavor text.

As for Aberdobe, I believe Bloodstone Lands says that the tribes are named after their leaders, so given FRCS listing a new leader of the largest tribe I assume that Aberdobe is dead and the new leader of the largest band is the new leader.

I assume Ramar is actually referring to Bloodwalk (http://www.candlekeep.com/bookshelf/novels/955467400.htm) by James P. Davis -- a novel of the 'Wizards' series.
