wufishmonger 03-25-07, 04:48 AM	Are there guilds anywhere in Faerun made up of only arcane warriors? Looking for guild ideas for mostly chaotic arcane warriors on a nwn2 persistant world. It would most likely include bards, fighter mages, warlocks, etc. Dont limit your responses based on those classes though. Thanks
Stigger 03-25-07, 04:58 AM	Bladesingers come to mind as one, definitely chaotic, and very much in Faerun... as to being organized, not in any formal sense I don't think, beyond training academies. Doubtful it's what you're looking for, but about the only thing that comes to mind offhand. If you're thinking of making one, I'd say there would possibly be something like it in Tethyr, as General Paulus was a fighter/mage himself. Calimshan might have a group like it as well... I could see the Zhents organizing a small group like that, same with Cormyr... Possibly Impiltur, but it seems a longshot to me. Silverymoon perhaps, given a few of Alustriel's sons being close to that sort if memory serves. You might want to check out Gold & Glory on WotC's older edition download page, it might have a group like that in there, couldn't say for certain though, I haven't looked at it in ages.

bitter thorn 03-25-07, 10:09 PM	Are you strictly looking for cannon citations or more general ideas? I introduced a combat mages guild in Cormyr for eldritch knights and other gish types that is geared toward networking and professional development for adventurers looking for chartered groups and other networking and guild activities. Or course it's also yet another tool for the War Wizards to keep abreast of spell casters, nobles and adventuring types.
wufishmonger 03-26-07, 01:28 AM	First thanks for the replies I am open to all ideas. An example of a guild on the server.. the red wizards of thay are represented... I am hoping to represent a branch of some other entity which is made of characters who use both magic and martial skills. Not familiar enough with faerun to just pick one though. Bladesingers wont work because we are not all elves.. My character is human. We could do all humans or have a mix.. again any comments are welcome.
