Are the plains of purple dust really purple? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Raurin desert is not all purple if thats what you are asking (plains of purple dust is sometimes considered part of the Raurin).
There is some info on both areas in “The Hoard” boxed set available for free in the classic dowlload section

Purple sand dunes are also found in the Dust Desert.
