shadow_straw 01-06-08, 01:25 PM	ok i been hearing alot about a movie being made about drizzit is this true i even read on wizards site there is and from the writer of the books i would just like to know if any of you might know and one more thing i have a book now iam reading cause iam waiting for the last drizzit book to come in so i thought i would branch off and read some of his other books.iam reading now is servant of the shard and in the book cover it says "I hope Entreri realized the truth of it,that he did not need to wage this battle,as his hand sank into the hated drizzit do'urden's chest,stilling his heart forever.i wonder if it saddened him that he kill me . "I doubt ut" --Drizzit Do'Urden is this true or just saying it in these books about Artemis Entreri does he kill drizzit
Nimor_Imphraezl 01-06-08, 01:54 PM	I don't know anything about the movie, but the quote about Artemis killing Drizzt is true . . . kinda. In the novel The Silent Blade (i think) Jarlaxle is in posession of the Crystal shard and artemis is tagging along with him. Jarlaxle gets Drizzt to enter the tower-like manifestation of the crystal shard where he stages a battle between Drizzt and Artemis. However Drizzt gets the upper hand and Kimmuriel uses his psionic power and Artemis 'kills' Drizzt. Out of respect for Drizzt's father Jarlaxle has Rai-guy heal Drizzt before he actually dies though. This is done w/o Artemis's knowledge, and he still believes Drizzt to be dead as far as i know.

shadow_straw 01-06-08, 02:31 PM	nvm i seen it but my fav char in the hole thing is Artemis Entreri he the best but i dont think he could really beat drizzt with out that guys help i think drizzit would have killed him even if he diden want to drizzit would have won be my guess
Nimor_Imphraezl 01-06-08, 03:53 PM	that's pretty much how the fight went actually. Drizzt was winning but instead of going for the killing stroke he just walked away. Then Artemis recklessly charged at Drizzt forcing him to fight back and then Kimmuriel stepped in.
