| The_Dane11-29-07, 04:59 AM | This is my first post here, so hey all. I got problem i would like some help with. Im running a campaign set around the Moonsea and the players all have some connection to the Zhents or the church of Bane(the same thing these days?)... I have an idea concerning baneliches for the setting but im finding it hard to get any facts about them. They are briefly mentioned in Monsters of Fearun but not in any detail. So what i need is the names of any baneliches you have come upon in your travels and if you have any suggestion or information about more powers avaliable to them, apart for those mentioned in Monsters of Fearun. |
| OrderofUhlrik11-29-07, 08:59 AM | I have the 2e write up for the banelich from one of the monster compendiums if you'd like to see it and get some ideas. Or I could just pm you the relevant information? |
| Old Sage11-29-07, 09:33 AM | Ruins of Zhentil Keep [Adventure Book], pg. 41 notes that Stallac Benadi [the banelich mentioned in Cloak & Dagger] is the "seventh in Faerūn to receive the greatest gift of Bane" [i.e. become a banelich]. Other baneliches noted are Tomar of Bane [eighth banelich created] and Wedic B'donder [last -- and presumably ninth -- banelich created]. The first six baneliches are not mentioned, detailed or named. You have free rein to make of them what you will. |
