| celtic_belenos03-09-07, 07:49 AM | Dear DMs, 3 of my players are wild elves from Chondalwood. The concept is great and I am looking for information on Chondalwood. In the history of this place, there had been a great battle with the communities around involving the humans, but alos the wild elves in the forest. do you have elements of this battle? The next adventures I am going to propose to my players is a war campaign in their homeland (with the help of the book heroes of Battle). they will have to face an invading army of undead, and I wanted to try to do something plausible. Any info you have will be great help. Thanks Celtic_Belenos |

The are tribe-like they fight the other tribes of elves, centaurs, ghost wise halfing tribes that live there. They create their own weapons with stone and wood because the trade routes do not produce any metal or weapons for large trades. I can see the slavers coming through because of the Slave trade route going through Chondalwood from the South to the North. This is just my creative impute. |

You could easily have either one of those nations sending in "black ops" type groups to try and "feel out the situation" in the Chondalwood in light of the "elven return". Further, either Chondath or Sespech could frame the other for incursions into the Chondalwood in hopes that the elves, satyrs, wood giants and emerald enclave attack the framed party. If you want to include undead you could easily have a necromatic cult gain a hold in the area where the rotting wars ended. And all those are old idea's I've had for the region, if I come up with anything else I'll let you know :) |
