No idea where to find the info or if there is even a book or website I can find it... all help appreciated. |

It sounds like any bonuses gained by donating to Tymora ( or any god for that matter) should be purely at the DM's discretion. Otherwise I can just envision a group of rules-lawyering PC's donating just enough to get the max bonus when they are about to confront Manshoon at the Citadel of the Raven. Remember, Lady Luck is a fickle goddess and there is no guaranteed way of obtaining her favor. And especially not by throwing money at the problem. Where's the risk and chance in that? |

| Gray Richardson06-02-07, 04:26 AM | In my campaign awhile back, one of my players had Tymora as his patron and would stop by her temples and shrines whenever possible. He would drop donations into a box they have near every entrance at the foot of a wheel of fortune. If he liked, he could spin the wheel on the way out. I had a list of little things that would happen depending on what the wheel "rolled". Each number corresponded to a token that would bring good or ill luck. 1-6 were tiny little misfortunes such as "drop your weapon once in combat, move action to retrieve" 15-19 were little tiny rewards such as a coupon for a free reroll, a free clue from the DM at player's discretion, that kind of thing. 20 was a luck coin that gave the player a +1 luck bonus to AC so long as he had it on his person. He could spin the wheel once per temple visit--only after a donation--and he only ever won a single luck coin, but it remained precious to him throughout the campaign. |
