Well I have started a long story with my gaming group. I am having it take place in the Dalelands. The intro is all done and i am writing my 2nd part of my story. I am wanting my players to go and talk to Priestess of Eilistraee for some information. I am baseing my players out of the town of Ashabenford. I just don't know where I should place my meeting site for the group and the Priestess.

Any Idea's.

Also I am looking for any help with a more detailed map of the area other then the one from the FR's book on page 117.

In the end I am looking at having my group go up against Jezz the Lame.

Unless you're going to have it be common knowledge where the drow are located, I would make it someplace in the wilderness, midway between two points.

Do a search on Google for "Dalelands Map" or similar lines... I found one a while ago, though I didn't save the link.

I actually did somewhat of a similar campaign; I set it after the Last Mythal Trilogy, and it involved a resurgent elven coronal, hobgoblins attempting to revive Sseressendale, and drow lythari.

No not having it common knowledge about them. I still want the mystery of Eilistraee for my players. My players don't know much on the Drow out of game and i am in love with them, so for me its very fun for me to run. Yet I am still not to sure on where I want to take it. I will instill in the players I think that they alone can't stop the flood of Drow into the forest but they can at least stall the raides on the Dales via stopping Jezz.

I have done some searching online for maps but haven't found much.

Will keep looking. Also if anyone has ideas or other hooks then by all means post them and I will read and see if I can fit into my story or what not.

I have a Pally, Priest, Druid and Ranger in the group with a time to time fighter. Odd group I know but so far they are loving their char's and the story. :)

Well, you can draw some general information about the Dalelands and Cormanthor from older edition material, which you can download from HEREABOUTS (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads).

Cormanthyr (mainly about the old Elven Realms rather than Cormanthor itself)
Volo's Guide to the Dalelands
Fall of Myth Drannor

... will surely include some more maps et al ... and surely a few good story hooks.

Eilistraeens were reported in WotSQ to operate from Elventree or Tangled Tree (or both), where they led the captured Halisstra to. Sacrifice of the Widow gives you an excellent impression about the ways of the Eilistraeens and the Vhaeraunians as well, while WotSQ features a few encounters with the Cormanthor drow of House Jaelre.

I use a clearing in the woods, in a night with full moon. This kind of place is sacred to Eilistraee's clergy, so it would fit if the priestess is somewhat superstitious. (And all priests are, to a certain extent.)
