| Lias04-09-07, 08:35 PM | In the chapter of "Unapproachable East" about Aglarond there is mention of a vast dungeon that lies under the Sunglade in the Yuirwood. One of the PCs in a game I run has gotten it into his head to find away into this dungeon and find out what's there. First he worked to somehow bypass the Menhir portal - which I didn't allow. Then, once he figured out that only a Master of the Yuirwood could operate the portals, he decided to take ranks in the prestige class. I decided not to make things easy for him by forcing him to earn significant favor from the Master's before gaining access to the class, and sure enough, he's gone and earned himself quite the reputation with them - befriending Dervila Greenbow (leader of the order) and saving her life in the process. Anyhow, enough background. I have a PC that wants to explore the dungeon beneath the Sunglade and I'm ready to let his party do it. I haven't been able to find any substantial information on it in the sourcebooks (maybe I've missed it somewhere). Does anyone know where I can find info on this dungeon? I'll build it if I need to, but if there's any information from a sourcebook or novel I can draw from, it would help lend authenticity to our upcoming adventure. Thanks in advance! Lias |

Before the roll, the player mentioned that the character specifically wanted to check his knowledge about any legendary adventuring sites in the region. The dice fell, and the resulting 32 meant I needed to share a truly juicy tidbit regarding sites in the region . . . something that almost no one would know about. I reached into my hat, and pulled out the dungeon beneath the Sunglade. When I described it as being a vast dungeon stretching for miles beneath the Sunglade (a mystical place deep in the Yuirwood), the player, and the party were hooked. It got worse when I mentioned that the bard had no idea how to get into the dungeon. I won't go into all the details of their adventures to this point, but rest assured, there was no metagaming. The information was came to the party legally, through a resourceful (and somewhat lucky) bard. Having said that, I repeat my call for information. Can anyone recommend a source for more information on the dungeon beneath the Sunglade? A sourcebook, a novel, Richard Baker, Matt Forbeck, or Sean K Reynolds email addresses? Anything? |
