So......for anyone who has the Grand History of the Realms........did anyone else notice that there's a KENDER mentioned on page 148?

Indeed. Kender have been noted in the Realmslore previously. The reference you're asking about reflects the events of the novel Tymora's Luck.

Plus, we get another reference about Sigil too. :D

Okay, I wanna state this out about the old gods in the realms coz I got curious after reading anthologies.
Before the time of the Netheril were the creator races..What were their gods? Who were their gods? Since when did the other gods walk Faerun besides the great serpent, Annam.
And what/where is Ostoria?

So then travel between krynn and Toril is possible?

Probably, but remember that this particular kender was from a 2E novel.

So then travel between krynn and Toril is possible?During earlier editions, and with the structure of the Great Wheel cosmology, travel between Krynn and Toril was possible -- either through planar means, or just standard spelljamming. And indeed, there are noted instances in the lore as Rino indicates above.

With the evolution of the Great Tree however, and the new cosmology for the DRAGONLANCE setting... things eventually changed. The presence of Sigil in a separate "planar pocket" [Rich Baker has confirmed this] which allowed access to most cosmologies could, in theory, allow travellers to journey from one setting to the other. Though, until this particular reference in Grand History, we had no specific lore in 3e -- for either setting -- suggesting this was anything more than a theory. The fact that a kender's presence has still been supported in 3e Realmslore does indeed work toward confirming the theory that travel, through the City of Doors, is still possible between Krynn and Toril even considering the changes to the cosmological frameworks of both settings.

I can only say one thing....War of Souls was the coolest book ever written. I wish they'd make some character like Mina in FR.

-While we're on the topic, Brian, did you realize that the blurbs on Joel, Emilio, Walinda and co. are backwards? The events of Finder's Bane are mentioned after the events of Tymora's Luck. Good books, for anyone who hasn't read them. Very good books.

No, I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out but you're absolutely correct. Oh well, at least the events are in the correct year. :)

I kinda like the relationship with her and Silvanoshei created...But that was tragic....very tragic....And I thought Raistlin and Crysania was tragic.

Didn't like Silvanoshei either, but i'll agree with the Raist and Crysania. Raitlin should come to toril next......he can be a Zulkir.......the Zulkir of sheer BAMF
