| deathbane03-31-07, 10:43 PM | I am about to make a module for NWN2, but I have only played Eberron. The problem is I want to make my villian's background consistent with FR, so is there a short version of the history of FR and brief description of the nations online somewhere so I can decide where he came from. I found a map online but I dont know anything about the nations other than the one's that show up in video games and Salvatore's books. |
| Lord Karsus03-31-07, 11:06 PM | A Grand History of the Realms www.geonomicon.com -That should help immensely. |
| Old Sage04-01-07, 12:18 AM | The version stored at Candlekeep (http://candlekeep.com/downloads/grandhistory.zip) is actually the more up-to-date compilation. And you'll likely want to snap a copy fairly soon, before it's taken down in preparation for the officially published release of Grand History by WotC. |

| Old Sage04-02-07, 10:19 AM | As I recall, Brian said that, along with the PDF at Candlekeep, he'd also be removing the compiled Grand History from his website as well. |

The Sage is absolutely correct. The website isn't coming down, but the Grand History PDF will be removed. Hmmm, perhaps it's also time to update the site. But I'm so attached to its campy circa 1998 design. :D |
| deathbane04-04-07, 12:19 AM | Thanks for all the help. i dont have any FR books because I am an Eberron guy, and I dont know to much about the world of FR. I'm thinking it might be easier to use Eberron(but that would require me to custom create raves and find a way to involve action points) or make make my own world. Before some1 gets the wrong idea...I am not anti FR, but I never had a chance to play it. |

I'm sure you'll find the Realms quite to your liking. |
| Stigger04-05-07, 04:53 AM | So long as you make an honest effort deathbane, I don't think anyone's going to care overly much if you gaff on a few details for a NWN2 module. Making the things are hard enough without worrying about every historical detail being consistent with canon. So long as you can get the feel and spirit of the Realms, I'd say good enough. :) |
