| Lord Karsus04-27-07, 10:37 PM | -They appear in various Salvatore novels. I believe that the family is first introduced in the Icewind Dale Trilogy (The Second Book?). Malchor Harpell was the last of the family to get an appearence, in the recent Blackstaff. As for sourcebooks, I am fairly sure that they are mentioned in the books that deal with the North. |
| Old Sage04-27-07, 11:56 PM | See replies from Ed in both his '05 and '06 files. See also:- The 'Longsaddle' entry in Volo's Guide to the North specifically, as well as most other sources focusing on the North -- and City of Splendors. |
| Stigger04-28-07, 07:19 AM | Think they're mentioned as having built a magical road to Nesme in GHotR somewhere, but that was the first I had ever heard of that one, at least that I recall. |
| Fillow04-29-07, 10:07 AM | The Harpell family lived in Longsaddle. Regis drove the Drizzt Company there. See the following events in Streams of silver. We follow Harkle Harpell in The Halfing's Gem, and especially in Passage to dawn, I believe ! a magical road to Nesme in GHotR somewhere What is GHotR please ? |

| Stigger04-29-07, 11:11 AM | Heh, no problem, first time I saw that acronym I just kept looking back and forth between my screen and my bookshelf, trying to figure it out for a good 5 minutes. :) |
