Harpers affiliation [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-16-08, 06:05 PM Is their an official affiliation progression for being a card carrying member of the Harpers? Any info welcome.

04-16-08, 07:10 PM Sort of, but its fairly nebulous. Code of the Harpers for 2e sums it up fairly well, although its relatively informal and not really necessary. I'm going off of memory, but the basic ranks were unpinned Harper (not really official just yet), pinned Harper (full member, not many as I recall), Senior Harper, and Master Harper (could be reversed with Senior Harper, memory is kinda fuzzy on it). What the difference was between Senior Harper and Master Harper was that one or the other sat on something like a Harper Council and generally had more 'time and respect'... I seem to recall it being fairly ill-defined.

FYI, I haven't looked at that book in years, so take anything specific with a grain of salt.

Also, anything as far as the PHB2 style benefits for being a harper? I swear I read something formatted in that fashion once before....

04-18-08, 02:49 PM None that I've seen. Closest I can think of might be something like Blackstaff Academy or the Moonstars in the COS:Waterdeep book for 3e, but I don't think much has come out on the Harpers since the PHB2, at least not that I'm aware of.
